Lake Victoria Granada Hotel ★★★★

"Due to a flight cancellation, I was obliged to spend one more night in Entebbe. My airline offered me a room in the Lake Victoria Hotel which I was happy to take. My room was perfectly okay and provided everything I needed, including a good working air-conditioning. The hotel is quite large, so depending on the room you get, it could be quite a walk. The staff is very willing to help whenever called upon and is quick to react to any additional requests. The restaurant offered a fairly extensive menu and the food was very good. Being at the end of my trip – and to be fair a little done with local cuisine – I did stick to the traditional western style courses. All in all, I have no complaints about the Lake Victoria Hotel and wouldn’t mind staying there again during an Entebbe layover."

Oslo Gardens Bed & Breakfast ★★★

"The staff were super friendly and helpful, even with ordering a taxi. Airport transfer: 35,000 UJ. Very nice view of Lake Victoria and a beautiful garden 👍 We spent three nights there. Breakfast consisted daily of: coffee or tea, a large slice of toast with butter, an omelet, two sausages, and a mixed fruit platter. The price-performance ratio was excellent. We would gladly stay again."
