Melidron Hotel
"Could say that the title says it all. Which it does, but doesn’t show the whole picture! As a group of 12, then 13, “senior” friends made over many years of footballing adventures, playing and/or watching, Wendy and owner Efie mustn’t really have known what to expect when our booking was made early in the year. Circumstances last summer meant rooms were rather unusually available as it turned out. Luckily for us! From Wendy’s initial greeting, & very helpful later advice whenever required, with rooms soon allocated (sea/pool view for me and my room-mate 😀), very clean btw and kept so by the cleaners, nice cold drinks at the pool bar quickly appeared, served by Theo and Aris, who soon got to know us, along with Costas who appeared later that day. All were extremely friendly, as were the other staff, and we got to know several other guests pretty well during our stay. We were even thanked for providing great entertainment (not planned!) by some! A Rock Music night was put on at our request (though some other music was included as the evening went on…Ernie??? Oh dear!!), & arranging for pizzas and chips for our last (quieter) night watching the England last 16 game. Special thanks from us all go to Wendy for putting up with our humour and banter, and finally Efie, who we didn’t really get to speak to until our farewells were said. Personally, I’d love to return sooner rather than later, but with my wife next time. A much quieter holiday then, maybe even with our daughter too (for Costas that one! 😉😄). Oh yes. Skala itself isn’t bad either!!"
Louis Apostolata Island Resort
"We booked a Superior Twin room with Sea view, All Inclusive, through Jet2. On the transfer bus we were warned it could take 2 hours, what they didn't mention the state of the roads totally unsuitable for the coach, as it turned out it took an hour and a half, the return took an hour and three quarters. We were quickly through the check in and taken down to our room by buggy. The room itself was very spacious with a large balcony and a great view. The bathroom had a window out into the room which could be covered but a clear glass door on the toilet, so make sure you are comfortable seeing your roommate on the toilet. The bathroom itself could have done with a refresh as it the paint looked old and the sealent was mouldy. We found the food to be excellent in all venues especially the a la carte. The Greek Coffee station at breakfast was great idea. For some reason if you are all inclusive you can't have your lunch at the pool restuarant while the main restaurant is open. The pool is large with plenty of loungers available. The all inclusive drinks available were varied enough, an Apostolata Special became a favourite. All of the staff are very freindly. Entertainment is pretty well none existant. We had a Greek band play one night, they were very good. There is a terraced area beside the sea with a few sunbeds also some steps into the sea so you can go swimming, take a snorkel and mask. The rooms and resort are kept very clean and the gardens look amazing. We took the shuttle bus into Skala a couple of times, it is very handy. Being built on the side of a hill, the resort is very impressive with spectacular views from rooms and restuarants. You will notice ants everywhere unfortunately they are in the outer part of the main restuarant and bar area. We found that although we were all inclusive we had to ask for a key to the safe and the slippers and bathrobe. I also asked for a bulb to be replaced on our first night, this was never fixed. Overall not a 5 star experience but the Apostolsta is worth a visit."
Porto Skala Hotel Village
"Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic 10 day holiday in July 2025 with our children (age 14 - 23). The hotel is so cute with all the different coloured apartments and the rooms are cool (air conditioned), spacious, comfortable and cleaned every morning with fresh linen and towels. All with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The pool is just perfect, with plenty of space for everyone and always enough sun loungers. There’s also a poolside bar offering snacks, drinks (hot/cold/cocktails) and lunch menu. The buffet breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. It did get busy towards the end of service so we tended to go early and beat the rush. We didn’t have the dinner option as it was very expensive and with better, cheaper options in the nearby town we were happy to venture out for dinner. The town was quite a walk from the hotel so we took advantage of the hotel bus which ran morning - evening. You just need to book at reception, the staff were always extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Especially Evelyn - she was an absolute ANGEL and made so much effort to ensure we were happy and had everything we could want and more! I would say it would be beneficial to hire a car as there isn’t much close by and with the temperatures in the high 30s you should ensure it has air conditioning! There is parking across the road from the hotel. As well as two stunning little coves with crystal clear water where our children enjoyed snorkelling to see all the fish. The water was clean and cool - so refreshing on the hottest days. Overall this was a fab holiday that I would recommend. Only thing I would change would be to hire a car so we could travel at our leisure and see more of the island and maybe go slightly earlier or later in the year when it’s not so hot. I also think it would be a great idea for the hotel to have music at the bar in the evenings as it’s such a beautiful spot. There’s lovely seating outside reception overlooking the sea but didn’t ever see anyone serving at that bar. With some music on and a drink with that view it would be just perfect "

"Lovely quiet hotel, had Sea facing room , beautiful. Only downside they charge for sun beds on the beach opposite the hotel, that is unnecessary especially as staying at hotel. Breakfast nice , staff friendly. Lots of bars and resturants 5 min walk away ."
Blue Jasmine Hotel
"We spent 2 days at Blue Jasmine. The outside spaces are beautiful. Our room was at the back, so no views really. It was spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. A little milk and a couple of tea bags would have been very welcome on arrival. Breakfast wasn’t great. The staff we met were pleasant."

"Dette er nu blevet ommærket og er nu "La Skala Vista" hotel.Poolen er blevet grundigt renset og de omkringliggende lejligheder er blevet malet igen.Det er meget tidigere og ser meget eksklusivt ud, når færdige toucher er blevet lavet. Den ansvarlige herre sagde, at han brugte "en million euro!"Ved at opgradere den og tilføjede, at "Det havde brug for den!".Jeg kan ikke kommentere værelserne inde, da vi kun brugte poolen og poolbaren (som er ved at blive opbevaret). Priserne bag baren er lidt stigende.Endelig har ejeren til hensigt at have en åben buffet stil BBQ på den øverste terrasse (som vil være meget romantisk, når de møbleres).Håber at være klar den 1. juli. "

"We were completely blown away by Olivemare. The owner Marilena is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are super stylish and comfortable, with a gorgeous private patio area. There are only 5 rooms, so the pool never feels busy, and it's a great size. Breakfast was fabulous with delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice, cheese from the owner's goats, freshly-cooked eggs, and daily specials such as fava, and spinach pie."

"Absolut fantastisk, kunne ikke være lykkeligere..... damen vært var fantastisk meget behagelig og professionel.....når du gik ind i gården vidste du bare, at stedet ville være godt, meget ren blomster og gazebos var smuk. Værelset var en stor husetter meget ren og alt, du havde brug for, var der allerede.Vi gik til morgenmad inkluderet mulighed, der ikke skuffede mad var smuk og store muligheder også, Det er kun omkring 10 minutters gang til stranden. Minimarked lige ved døren, og en anden længere ned ad vejen (mod stranden), Efrosini Village har en meget afslappet følelse af det og omgivet af de alvorlige frugttræer er det virkelig et meget smukt sted at bo."

"Lovely location close to Scala, beautiful beach within walking distance, apartments are clean tidy and have a wonderful view to the sea. The pool area is well kept and offers sun longers. The host, Sonia, was friendly and works hard with the upkeep of the property. This is a small lovely relaxing complex where you can totally unwind, I will return, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending Ostrias House to all that enjoy a nice peaceful stay on this island paradise."

"Still sitting here by the pool and wow what a hotel to choose. Out of all the hotels we have stayed in Greece this beats them all hands down. From the the top to all the way down the staff can not do enough for the guests. Especially Anastasia at the pool bar. Always has a nice smile and makes you feel welcome. Reception staff great to.definately 5star for me. Only downer is that there is no shop close by for water etc. but when you have the shutter bus to take you into scala not really a hard ship."

"Vi valgte Anastazia hotel baseret på tidligere anmeldelser og placering beliggende i udkanten af byen.Dette hotel var ikke skuffende. Ejeren er så velkommen og ventede på, at vi ankom (efter midnat) vores værelse var en overlegen dobbelt, ekstremt rummeligt med en havudsigt balkon.Værelset havde også et køleskab med og isboks. Morgenmaden var lækker, kontinental med masser af valg, herunder smuk hjemmelavet slik og smag.Anastazia og hendes familie kunne ikke være mere tilfredsstillende. Intet var for meget problemer, hun ville råde til lokale steder og stille strande at besøge.Den sidste dag kiggede de efter vores tilfælde og gav rent håndklæder, så vi kunne gå i bad efter vores dag ud. Hotellet er perched på en bakke ved siden af et par restauranter og Poros havn og centrum er omkring 10 minutters gang væk med plenarmødet af restauranter og taverne for at vælge.Vi havde en fantastisk ophold og kunne ikke anbefale dette hotel mere højt."

"The Hotel was spotlessly clean , rooms were spacious and up to date. Beautiful views and very very quiet. The hosts were polite and friendly too. Please be aware , the location is not ideal , I've just left after a 3 night stay and checked in somewhere closer to the town, to finish my 7 night stay , unless you are in your 20s the walk up and down the hill is a killer , especially when it's in the 30s ! If you don't plan on hiring a car , this hotel is NOT for you . Even our transfer refused to go up as the vehicle struggled. We had a lovely big balcony, you could see for miles , but you couldn't sit on the balcony and shut the door to keep mosquitos out , there is no handle outside ! We were eaten alive come bed time , to the point we had to visit the pharmacy as we were bitten that bad !"
