"AMAZING!!! Thank you for allowing us to spend a few days in paradise!! Fantastic views, fantastic service and super kind owners!! The zany ocean floor and stays shallow far enough that it feels like a giant swimming pool! Food was great- drinks were cold and views were magnificent!  It is a bit off the main road to get there but that’s what makes it special and not packed with people- well worth the journey to get there. Highly recommend it and we hope to come back again one day soon!! Thanks again for such a fantastic experience! :)"

The property itself had a unique charm set inside a beach compound with a jungle-themed design, it felt like a perfect balance of nature and modern living. "I stayed at Z Garden Hotel between 28th Nov and 1st Dec. My stay was absolutely amazing. I arrived on an early morning flight, and despite check in being from 3pm, Remy re assured me that they will do their best to accommodate me within a short time. I left my luggage with reception and went to have some breakfast. By the time I returned my room was prepared and I was blown away at the hospitality of the staff as Remy realised upon check in that it was my birthday a few days before and the staff prepared my room with balloons and decor which left me speechless. The staff at the hotel really epitomise the hospitality and kindness of the people of Philippines. Every day my room would be left spotless and as a solo traveller it had everything I could have needed. Modern, stylish room and the bed was so comfortable. I generally struggle to sleep in Hotels but the bed was really comfortable and a warm space to relax. I was greeted by every staff member that passed by from the reception team, to housekeeping to the security guard at night. Any advice I needed or transport arranged, Remy took absolute care of everything as though I was her own guest and it really leaves a beautiful memory of my travels. It is in a brilliant location, in a quiet relaxing space just a short distance away from the lively scene of El Nido. I hope to return to El Nido in future with my family and without hesitation I will choose to stay at Z Garden Hotel again. Thank you Remy and the entire team for making it a memorable experience and I hope to see you all very soon!"

"I booked this hotel as a stop over in El Nido before starting an island hopping tour. It was conveniently situated opposite the office of the island hopping tour company! The hotel is very peaceful and the room was huge. It is surrounded by jungle area on the beach so there are mosquitoes. However, citronella spray and other various repellents were provided. I usually get eaten by mosquitos but did not have a problem here! The restaurant and bar is located on the beach so it is very relaxing."

"The hotel is in a great location, right in the center of El Nido. There are cafes, a spa, and yoga on site. But I stayed on the first floor, and my room had no internet connection at all. On the second floor, it was fine. When I approached them to ask them to fix the problem, they simply said, "Sorry, we're having problems with our provider." For some reason, internet problems only occur on the first floor, lol. The room was also infested with mosquitoes and flies, keeping me up at night. There was a vinegar solution in the room to combat them, but it didn't do a damn thing. Otherwise, the hotel was okay, but I wouldn't go back."

The hotel and grounds were clean beautiful and had extra amenities that made our stay relaxed and comfortable. The location is a 2 minute walk to Lio beach and all the restaurants along the beach. Elmer the van driver drove us to the beach area and recommended a good restaurant. The hotel will also transfer you to the airport which is very close. Even though the garden room doesn't have regular windows looking outside, they put in a skylight that lets the natural light stream in, and all the huge tropical plants make you feel like you are right in the middle of a jungle.
