"The room stunk like old cigarettes and dirty smell. Bedspread had cigarette burns. The only lounge chair was really disgusting dirty. I had to throw towels over it so I could sit comfortably. Sink plumbing fell off like it was corroded. Coffee pot didn’t work when I asked for another they brought me a dirty one like if he just pulled from storage. Needless to say I didn’t use it. I won’t be staying there anytime soon."

"Coinvent location right of the interstate. Nice clean room, large and comfy beds, and big tv screen. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods and large enough not to get crowded. The indoor pool was also great to swim in and was pretty big. Overall one of the best experiences I have had in the area especially for cleanliness."

"This is a 2 star hotel so keep that in mind. With that said, the hotel was okay for a 2 star hotel. No frills but the basics were there. Toiletries, coffee and free breakfast (with eggs and waffle maker) are available. The beds were clean and comfortable, but other than that the hotel needs a little extra cleaning, some updates and general TLC. However, I will say, this is one of the most affordable hotels in the area, therefore, I wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel. We were there for less than 12 hours and it served our needs, if we needed a longer stay we would consider something else. Overall the Midland/ Odessa area has very high hotel rates for the quality they offer, it's unfortunate that they take advantage of the high number of temporary workers that need to stay in the area."

"This hotel was a one-night stop for us on the way to Austin. We didn’t pay much for our room and it was worth about that or less. The rooms are called “suites,” but that is a stretch. While there is a “kitchenette,” with a full-size refrigerator, microwave and small sink and cooktop, it is tucked into the entry hall so that there really isn’t any more square footage. The room was about 80 degrees when we arrived and the A/C unit is a wall unit that is LOUD. We shut it off when we went to bed, but had to turn it back on during the night because the room was so hot (and it was about 40 degrees outside). The toilet paper and tissues were beyond cheap and could be used as sandpaper in another life. Breakfast was a meager affair and not at all appetizing. I almost wish they would just offer coffee and a box of really good donuts. They had a small popcorn maker filled with popcorn for guests, but do you really want to dip the scoop into something that maybe other guests have had their hands in? Why not put it in bags for guests to grab as they go by? But I suspect that would require effort. Our room was quiet (except for the aforementioned A/C unit) and the bed was comfortable enough. Still, this Towneplace Suites gives me pause for a different Towneplace I have reserved in the fall . . ."

"We did not have any towels, our room was not cleaned the next morning. We did not have any toilet paper or Kleenex. We saw cockroaches and black bugs. I asked to change rooms and the staff was very friendly. But we were moved to a room across from the ice machine where apparently everyone gets ice for work in the morning. It was extremely loud and to top it off, as I drove around the hotel I ran over a large screw which caused me to have to purchase a new tire. I tried to save money on the room and it cost me sleep, a new tire, and bug bites. Totally not worth it. Lesson learned."

"Candlewood suites- roaches I checked in to the Candlewood suites from 4/16/24 thru 5/5/24. It is currently under renovations. The same day I checked in I started seeing roaches big and small come from the dishwasher and on to the kitchen countertop! I let the front desk know. And they sent maintenance to spray the room with bugspray. I was told that they pest control comes to spray at the end of every month. The bug spray didn't help. Pest control never came. I made sure to keep my luggage closed at all time so roaches wont end up in my bags. So I asked to move to another room. Before moving into the other room I had maintenance pull out the refrigerator and dishwasher and spray really good. For 2 weeks I didn't see anything. But after 2 weeks I started seeing small roaches come from the dishwasher and on to the kitchen countertop!. So I decided to leave and switch to another hotel. The manager Ashley asked me why I was leaving. I told her it was because I continue to see roaches. She got all upset and was very unprofessional. She said the guy who stayed in the room before me was there for a long time and never mentioned roaches and that I am the only one to complain. She also said the roaches must've followed me from one hotel to another because no one has mentioned the roaches but me. I let Ashley the manager know that several coworkers have seen roaches in there room. And just because I am the only one complaining about the pests this means you have roaches. If one person sees roaches in their room this is one complaint too many and this means you have a pest problem. Housekeeping cleans rooms once a week. But before they started renovating they should've had pest control come out and spray the whole building instead of renovating on top of roaches! She was so upset that I told her about the roaches she said if I don't check out by 12pm she would charge me for another day. SO she charged me for Monday 5/6/24!!! Even though I checked out of the hotel on Sunday 5/5/2024 at 230pm. I asked for a printed statement showing my checkout time was 5/5/24 at 230pm. She refused to give me a copy and said she would email my employer that I left at 230pm but still charge the company another day! I do not recommend this hotel unless you want to deal with roaches.."
