"It's definitely the cheapest hotel you can find around Duke. You can take a bus from the airport to the hotel (remember to ask the driver for a transfer ticket when transferring), which costs $2.50 compared to $50 for Uber. If you're going to the Duke campus, it's a 20-minute walk to another bus stop; just follow Google Maps or the transit app. There are fast food restaurants and supermarkets right outside the hotel. These are the good points. The bad point is the hygiene. The room had a strong odor upon entering, making it seem unhygienic. I later discovered it might be due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. Overall, the stay wasn't great, and the smell made me think other areas might not be very clean."

"Very friendly service at the check in desk.Checked my reservation through a 3rd party and explained to me that next time go through the hotel and explain to them the reason for my stay was because my wife had a appointment with the eye care center.They offer a discount rate rather than 3rd party.I had to pay $100.00 deposit which I got back when I checked out that morning.Also had a nice breakfast and made a reservation for my wife next appointment next week.I think we may staying there in the future.Thank you Ron Labriola."

The hotel gives off an 60's, 70's or 80's vibe which I thought was cool. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The igloo restaurant added and touch of Christmas holiday vibe. Pleasant views of downtown Durham from the pool deck. Overall my stay was very good."

"In order to catch the plane and change this hotel close to the airport, I confirmed repeatedly the night before that I need to go to the airport at 5 o'clock in the morning the next day. The front desk said it was definitely possible, and it had been arranged, but I arrived at the front desk at 5 o'clock the next morning. The driver was not there, and the front desk Said that she didn't know where the driver was, said that she would contact the driver again, only sent a message and didn't call. After waiting for a long time, there was no news. She was speechless, so she had to book an Uber car to go to the airport by herself, without any apologies! There is nothing around the hotel~"
