"- Upon arrival we have been surprised that our booking is not showing on the hotel system. We waited for almost three hours with the reception staff to give us a double room but for just one night as they said. Of course I and my wife were very angry and tired after a long trip from Tunis - Inside the room there was no drinking water, no kettle and of course no coffee, sugar and tea. It was strange for a 5 star hotel! - No tissue in room in spite of the existence of the tissue holder. - The bath in the bathroom was very old and rusted!! - Furniture items are old and used. - Central AC is cancelled in the room, and is replaced by an indoor split unit. It was really a shame for a 5 star hotel ans we were disappointed."

"Pro Really beautiful and peaceful setting in the Ksar Ghilane oasis, enjoy the sunset from their watchtower The room has a real bathroom, and it's quite comfy even though the shower could do with a screen so as not to flood the living space Near the centre of action if you want to do quads or camel ride, and the original source of the oasis is just down the road Con There is no WiFi, for the range they are targeting they should look into sorting that out (Starlink?) The bedsheets are an afterthought: they don't get to cover the mattress, they're rough and also not always present (pillow covers what are these??). Moreover the thick fake fur blankets tend to be full of the sand dust The food could do with some investment. Appreciate we're in the middle of the desert but nothing stops them from bringing good meat here rather than boney and fat meat.. The receptionist wants to be anywhere but there Other tips: Arrive before sunset, the road is paved but also full of sand!!"
