"Beliggenheden var stor, lige over katedralen og den lille høje gade i rhe landsby, hvor du kan få en kop kaffe, morgenmad eller et tweed-memorial fra et par søde kaffe eller den konverterede kemiker. Dornoch er lille, så det tager højst fem minutter at gå til alle restauranter.Slottet har en dejlig indre gård og en meget venlig prisvindende bar. Det ser meget ydmygt ud, indtil du bemærker flasken bag glasset :)) Du er forpligtet til at møde nogle meget vidende og velkendte whiskyfolk, samt lokale lige der for et drama. Alle personalet var pænt og velkommen, værelset blev godt opbevaret, og middagen på restauranten var top middag."
