"We did a quick trip from westchester Airport. We stayed 3 nights but really had 4 full days of fun. Our 2 kids are 4 and 6. This place is great for kids. Not just the Ritz itself but the Dorado Beach property you have access too is awesome. There is an awesome bike path we rode every day ( I pulled my kids behind me). We stopped at a huge play ground with a kids pool that had a fun water slide. On Saturday and Sunday there is a legit water park that's basically private. My kids probably did the 2 huge water slides 30 times. The staff was so sweet to my children and us. They give out Popsicles on arrival, my two kids asked for 4 pops a day and they always were given one. The beach is perfect and safe for little kids, the beach staff put a umbrella on the wet sand so my kids could play in the shade. We watched them while sipping delicious mojitos. Our day always ended in our plunge pool in the room and then dinner on property which was delicious. Look its the most expensive per night we have ever spent for a non suite room. That being said I would go back. You get what you pay for. This was true a luxury family vacation."

"We had a bad experience. We had to wait all afternoon for them to give us a code to access the room. A wasted vacation afternoon. And they were so calm. They didn't even worry about the delay or compensate us in any way. And the worst part is that we returned to the same hotel later and the same thing happened to us! We contacted them beforehand so it wouldn't happen again, and it happened again. Incredible! Again without a sorry or compensation. It's never happened to us before. Very little professionalism and respect for customers. We're not the only ones this has happened to. They only work with email and don't handle it properly. It's a shame because this treatment ruins their business, since the place and facilities are very nice. The room is well decorated, modern, and has all the amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio is not good. The price is high."

"The lush setting, gracious and attentive service, all within a mid size resort, enables visitors to truly benefit from the Ritz Carlton guest experience. Service was impeccable, rooms well appointed, restaurants prepared food perfectly. More than enough lounge chairs at pool or beach with excellent table service. A few notes to consider: If want beach access and closer resort walks, consider West rooms. More expensive but worth it. Room’s with plunge pools are personal preference since pool never felt crowded. Go to the spa, 5 acres of total relaxation enjoy the day and even have lunch. Price, yes it’s expensive, yes the resort fee is $150, but given that he complete experience we never once second guessed our decision to stay 5 nights. Order the wagyu steak at COA and ask the sommelier for a wine recommendation, get a couples nest seat at the Positivo and share some sushi and Japanese treats Go to the rum tasting and meet a golden key concierge Take a bike ride through the reserve Float, swim and float again in the protected beach cove"
