"Generelt smukt hotel, godt størrelsesrum, smuk og moderne.Stor komfortabel seng.Kun fejl var der en masse ladyfugle i badeværelset, ser ud til der var en form for besmøring. Kun bemærkede det i morges og rapporterede det til fronten, da det blev checket ud. Badeværelset er også frosset med vinduet lækker igennem, så det var ret lyst om morgenen, tror jeg, at det måske bare var mit værelse, selv om det var i slutningen. Det var en god beliggenhed for et bryllup, jeg deltog i Hooton Pagnall Hall.Kun 10 minutter væk så stor beliggenhed for det, jeg havde brug for.Personalet var venligt.Jeg anbefaler."

"The hotel is part of a pub chain but is located in separate building so there in no noice. Rooms are located over 2 floors but there is no lift so ask or ground floor room if stairs are a problem. Rooms are reasonable size with either double, two single beds or a double and sofa bed. The last one is best as it gives you a sofa to sit on. Rooms are basic, no fridge but does provide small kettle on a tray and hairdryer. Iron available. Large parking space and about 5 min from Thorne North station. There is also a South station but this is about 40 min walk."

Home Farm & Lodge

"Despite living close by we like to enjoy the odd night out around Bawtry (few drinks and then onto one of the great restaurants the town has to offer). For years we would stay in the Crown Hotel. And then a friend recommended Home Lodge Farm, just a couple of miles out in the little village of Austerfield. We decided to give it a try and, wow, so glad we did. It is an absolute hidden gem. The rooms are way beyond anything you'd get in anything bar a real luxury hotel. And the little attention to detail (eco washing products, fresh fruit, bread, preserves and cereals, etc) set the place apart. If you visit then make time to potter in the gardens. You'll feel your stress levels fade away. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The owners (Kerry and Richard) are genuine, warm hosts who seem to honestly appreciate your custom. We cannot recommend highly enough. "
