"We arrived at the hotel at 11:30am, fully aware that check-in wasn’t until 2pm, which was totally fine. At first, the reception staff began checking us in, giving us breakfast times and general information. Everything seemed routine, until they suddenly told us there was no record of our booking. From that point, the service took a dramatic turn for the worse. The staff quickly distanced themselves, offering no apology, no assistance, and no attempt to resolve the situation. Instead, we were simply told, “You’ll have to sort it yourselves.” No effort was made to help us, despite it clearly being a stressful and upsetting experience. The manager in particular was shockingly rude and dismissive. When we asked calmly for help or clarification, he showed no concern whatsoever. He barely acknowledged us, offered no solutions, and made it very clear that we were not his problem. His attitude was cold, condescending, and completely devoid of any basic customer service. Rather than diffusing the situation, his behaviour made it far worse — we felt humiliated, ignored, and completely abandoned. On top of all that, the toilet in the lobby was out of order, which was incredibly inconvenient given we were stuck there for hours. The electrics also kept cutting out during the six hours we waited — lights and power flickered constantly, making the lobby feel more like a disaster zone than a welcoming hotel. The only positive in all of this was Joyanna at reception, who came on shift later. She was the only one who showed empathy, professionalism, and basic human decency. She listened to us, tried to help, and treated us with kindness when no one else did. Her efforts stood out in stark contrast to the rest of the staff, especially the manager. We weren’t expecting perfection, just some support when something clearly went wrong. Instead, we were met with indifference, rudeness, and a total lack of accountability. This experience completely ruined the start of our holiday. We felt disrespected, unsupported, and utterly devalued as paying customers. We will never return to this hotel."

"Stedet er lille, men stærkere i den service, de leverer.Estetisk attraktivt.Personalet var meget smukt, venligt, høfligt og forstået opgaven. Mine venner og jeg betalte ekstra for massagetjenesten, som jeg vil gøre igen som den dame, der deltog i os, vidste hendes løg (Hun er meget god...Tak igen 😊). Jeg kørte en cykel efter næsten 20-år, det var gratis 🤩 Nederst for os var det, at “Jacuzzi var ikke med i reservationen”.Vi vidste ikke om det, da det ikke blev angivet online før bookingen blev foretaget, og det var en del af grunden, vi valgte stedet. Information og anmeldelser Jeg læste en slags, at du har fri adgang til jacuzzi, men det er ikke sådan, vi udtrykte vores bekymring over dette og de, hvor tænkelige nok til at tillade os at bruge det som en velkomst/tak fra management.❤️ På vegne af mine venner og jeg, nydte vi tjenesten/denne plads."

"Olive apartments is perfect in every single way. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to the beach, close to supermarket and bakery, and a lovely 20 minute stroll to the Old Town along the promenade. The accommodation is very high specification, beautifully quiet with the most amazing views over Kotor Bay. The host family are some of the most genuine kind people I have ever met, who go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. From picking us up from the airport, to morning coffees and pancakes, in addition to beautiful local food and wine. We had the most wonderful stay and we would highly recommend Olive Apartment to everyone."

The location is absolutely perfect – just outside the hustle and bustle of Kotor, yet still within walking distance. The facilities are fantastic, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax, with the highlight being the private little beach right in front of the property. It’s a peaceful bay where you can truly unwind. The host is very friendly and always ready to help – he even arranged my airport transfer without any hassle. The studio/apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and still be close to the old town of Kotor, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!"
