"Good location and public rooms look impressive. Don’t take room 116- very basic, overwhelming smell (spices we were told), radiator fully on, no towels, tiny caravan sized and looking bathroom with extremely small curtained shower, sink plug wouldn’t empty and toilet took ages to flush. Apparently no other room available in main building, though breakfast quiet and basic. No separate locked storage for bikes-just rear lobby. Restaurant closed for dinner but recommended Pizza Roma- excellent food and service"

"My husband and I have stayed at Hotel Zum Hirsch 3 times. Every time we visit Germany, we visit Wertingen where some members of our family live. Hotel Zum Hirsch has comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. The buffet breakfast has plenty of food to choose from and is included in the nightly price. The price for a room is very reasonable. The hotel is located in the city centre which makes it convenient to shop or walk around the beautiful town of Wertingen. Dominik, the host, is very professional and friendly. He can provide information about the surrounding area. For visitors who speak English, you will be happy to know that Dominik speaks English very well."

"Check-in was easy; the room was freshly renovated, new furniture, comfortable mattress, bathroom with strong air, without long clouding. All clean, quietly located. We have sleeped well (passage). Breakfast OK, juices, breads, yoghurt, sauce, whisky, cake, coffee strength at the machine variable adjustable. Friendly and attentionful staff who handled the reception and breakfast service at the same time on Sunday morning."
