"Stop over prior to next days ferry. Have stayed in Ibis all over and never had such a bad experience. Long winding ramp for disabled, better than the 4 stairs. Then the room is down a long corridor after 6 stairs to a lower level. Room was very small. OK for one with hand luggage, not suitable for two with a suitcase. Bed extremely uncomfortable, with extra large duvet cover on single duvet, therefore lots and lots of extra material. To add to your discomfort the mattress was a different size to the bed, ie too large. On the plus side the shower was excellent, good pressure and lots of hot water. Restaurant evening meal OK but very basic; breakfast typical French and plenty of it. Reception/restaurant staff excellent with good understanding of English. We did have a problem finding the place but that was probably my navigation more than anything else. Suitable car parking, and easy drive to port. Not up to Ibis usual standard"

"Jeg betalte for et værelse med havudsigt, og de nægtede at give mig det værelse, jeg betalte for. Hvis det ikke var, at værelset ikke var tilbagebetalbart, ville jeg være gået. Jeg har haft så dårlige erfaringer med Mercury, at jeg aldrig vil bruge kæden igen. Jeg var imponeret over intet andet end mad på dette hotel. Værelset blev ikke renset til mit niveau af renhed (spider net, lugtigt toilet, farvede tårne, støv i gulvhjørnene osv.) Jeg fik et værelse lige ved rundt om, så jeg kunne høre alle bilens motorcykel lastbil lyde ... og karoake en nat. I morgenmad løb de ud af tingene og erstattede dem ikke, især den sidste morgenmad. "Det er på vej madame", og så " morgenmad er over på 10H madame".Dette hotel kan være cool for andre, men det var ikke godt for mig.Jeg forventer meget mere for et 4* hotel."

"Average experience. The hotel is located quite far from the city center (15 minutes by car), but there is parking if you arrive by car. The service at the reception desk leaves something to be desired. It's long and not necessarily the most friendly. The shower is a nightmare. The shower pressure is very low. The bedding is very basic and not particularly comfortable. I would say the strong points are the proximity to the coast, the parking lot, and the McDonald's across the street from the hotel."

"A reviewer noted in November 2023 that the hotel needed updating, and it seems nothing has changed. The hotel is shabby, it smells of cooking fat, my room stank of sweat (is this due to memory foam mattresses)?, the shower head was broken, and the shower gel dispenser had clearly been empty for some time. On check-in, the receptionist was more interested in doing things her way, than listening, so check-in was laborious. Good things about the hotel: parking, plentiful hot water, and a reasonable breakfast, though the layout of this needs a rethink. It could be a great little hotel, but it isn’t."

"2 nights in a apartment stayed, beautiful location, warm reception and a beautiful view of the terrace. We were with his two, but there was only one apartment available for 4 people so we took it. Complete and atmosphereful device, all you can wish. The menu was too "starworthy" for us, so they didn't eat in a restaurant, because it was not spent on us. The last night, they took a dessert and it was beautiful and beautifully presented.
