"Once you enter the village you will see the hotel at the right. Field view room is just construction view as everywhere is undergoing construction. Mountain view block by other building. Best view is go out to the cafe facing the lake. Breakfast simple but only start at 8.30am which is late if you want to start out early. Nice that they have tub for foot bath. Bad is that water is limited to 2 bottles only. Must pay RMB 5 for 1 bottle. All other minsu I stayed in China provides unlimited water. The hot water tank they provide has a funny taste. Maybe all this is because of the location."

"We were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Rizhao Jinshan' phenomenon (golden mountain bathed in sunlight)! The hotel's views are absolutely stunning (just ignore that big crane, haha). You get an unobstructed panorama of all thirteen Meili Snow Mountains. The owner was super enthusiastic; as soon as we arrived, he warmly explained the best ways to view the mountains. After showing us to our room, he even turned on the humidifier, oxygen machine, and floor heating for us. The hotel is very clean, and in the morning, you don't even need to go down to the observation deck; you can simply watch the snow-capped peaks from your balcony. The hotel thoughtfully provided large, thick blankets, which was a very nice touch."

"The room was fantastic, with easy access to the view. We didn't even have to leave to admire Meili Snow Mountain. We were also incredibly lucky to witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan)."

"This best hotel I stayed during my Yunnan trip. The room is nice and clean. The staffs are helpful and friendly. There are many activities can be done during the stay too. There is a cute cat you can play with too. The breakfast is nice. It is a relaxing stay. Meili snow mountain is just right in front of us. Sadly, we couldn’t see golden mountain due to cloudy day. Overall is great. The only complaint is the drainage in bathroom is very slow, the water will flood up after awhile of showers."

For us it was closed and we had trouble finding the hotel. We tried to call them when we were lost but no one answered. No choices for breakfast just noodles with an egg."

"Our experience in Yubeng has left an indelible mark on our family, a testament to the warmth and kindness of the people here. Our child became severely ill with altitude sickness after becoming extremely tired during the ascent, even experiencing confusion. We were incredibly anxious. Late at night, we sought help from the hotel staff. Without a word of shirking responsibility, they immediately contacted a transportation company, provided us with a large supply of oxygen free of charge, refused to discuss price, and promptly arranged for a vehicle to transport us out of Yubeng overnight. Given the road conditions and the time of day, this assistance cannot be expressed with just a "thank you." We are also deeply grateful to the medical staff at Deqin County People's Hospital for their professional, calm, and swift treatment, which brought our child out of danger. We are also thankful for the guidance and support provided by the local police (110) at this critical moment. While this experience was perilous, it also showed us another side of Yubeng—not just its scenery, but also the kindness and compassion of its people. Of course! The hotel's environment and facilities were impeccable! We sincerely thank the hotel staff member, whose name we do not know, for her responsibility and kindness. We will remember the helping hand extended in our time of need for the rest of our lives."

"This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! The owner sent a car to pick us up at the tunnel entrance and even prepared afternoon tea for us. The fifth-floor terrace offers an incredible view, and the cafe's vista is simply breathtaking! When the guesthouse saw that we had booked two different rooms for two consecutive days, they kindly upgraded us to a frontal snow mountain view room on the third floor! We couldn't get a taxi to the 'Lonely Tree,' but the guesthouse thoughtfully provided round-trip transportation. The cutest part is the adorable golden retriever, Maodou (Edamame)! She's so lovely! She waits for everyone by the elevator and the entrance, and every day she strolls around the observation deck, charming people for snacks, haha! I will definitely book at Runjing again next time!"

"On our way from Xiangcheng to Meili Snow Mountain, we chose the LUX* Hotel in Benzilan as a rest stop. Although the LUX* opened in 2016, the overall facilities were still quite good, except that the water pressure in our room wasn't very good. Dinner was just average, but breakfast was delicious. I want to thank the receptionist, Ms. Cili Quzhui, for helping us upgrade our room!"

"Modern beautiful hotel with a full view of meili snow mountain. located right next to the official viewing deck! staff were welcoming - provided us tea upon arrival, brought us to our room and allowed us to choose between 2 views since there was space! they also helped us navigate the room, how to use the various amenities like the humidifier and oxygen machine. toiletries were fully provided for! the night time sweet soup was also soothing to have. these rooms I believe have no air con but it worked for us as the weather was very cool. the option for a heater was there. breakfast had a choice of 2 types of noodles, and a little buffet bar, with a great view too! overall recommend this space for a stay!"

"Hotellets beliggenhed er fantastisk. Fra balkonen på vores værelse kunne vi se solopgangen over de sneklædte bjerge i fred og ro. Hotellets egen udsigtsplatform er også fantastisk, og caféen har en dejlig atmosfære (jeg kan varmt anbefale byg- og gulerodskagen, min ven og jeg var enige om, at det var den bedste, vi har smagt i årevis). Selvom jeg følte mig lidt skidt tilpas om natten på grund af højdesyge, var der et udvalg af frugt samt drikkevarer og chokolade til at lindre højdesyge på værelset, hvilket faktisk hjalp med at lindre ubehaget med det samme. Om morgenen fik vi en meget rigelig og velsmagende morgenmad, som også var god til at genoplade energien og komme til kræfter igen."
