"Location of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area."

"The hotel's location is excellent, and they offer free bicycles, which is great for exploring the Mingshi Pastoral Complex. The scenery within the complex is indeed much better than outside, with a wonderful layered and expansive feel. I heard you even have to buy a ticket to enter if you're not staying at the hotel. The breakfast restaurant also has great views, and the breakfast selection is rich and delicious. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but the air conditioning, bedding, and other amenities are all good."

"How do I put this? The only downside is that the village isn't very convenient, but everything else was great. Although it was a bit hard to find, the owner came out to meet us at the entrance. The guesthouse has amazing views, overlooking Dongna Isle Bay. The landlady was incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and genuinely helpful. She assisted us with ordering food and even had it delivered to the hotel. She also brewed us a briefcase fruit wine. All in all, the positives far outweighed any negatives, and it was a very satisfying experience. The toiletries provided were excellent, and the shower had strong water pressure, which is a big plus for women."
