"I stayed in this hotel for two nights and there are two things I like most about it: First, the hotel is in a good location and convenient for traveling. The hotel is located at the foot of Shangri-La Town, with an altitude of about 2,800. Compared with the altitude of the hotel on the mountain, staying here is more comfortable, especially for older people like us, altitude sickness is more uncomfortable. Second, the hotel has a yard. It feels safe to park your car here without having to park your car on the road. In addition, the boss and employees are very easy-going and down-to-earth. They respond to every request and make guests feel warm. Of course, the house is a bit old without decoration. It would be perfect if it was renovated in the off-season."

"The hotel has a great location, just 3-min walk to the Yading Tourist Center to enter the park. It is clean and neat, the receptionist is very helpful and tried her best to help us despite the language barrier (we communicated via WeChat). She helped book a car to Daocheng for us at 50RMB each person. I especially loved the dining area as it has natural light, although breakfast is rather simple. A big plus point is the elevator as your legs will need some help after a long day in Yading."

"The property is at the very top end in luxury mountain lodges and probably the best I have stayed at in China and offers an experience that exceeds Songtsam and others in this space. It has a stunning location closer to the mountains than the lodging in Yading village which is both good (lots of quiet , better views) and not so good (rides into the village are needed). The service is excellent and very attentive. The rooms are top notch and have an exquisite ******* design. There is even an outdoor pool for the summer season. While the prices are fair for what one gets it does perhaps mean lower occupancy (at least on our visit). After staying three nights did not hesitate to book another stay"
