"I booked a family room, a one-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom setup, specifically for two adults and older children to stay together. My main draw was the pool and the hotel's good location, as I'd stayed here before and found it decent. However, this time the experience was just okay, mainly because the room facilities were so outdated – honestly, they were rundown. It was even more worn out than a standard room. One bathroom frequently leaked after flushing, requiring me to manually open the cistern lid and fix the stopper. The showerhead in the shower stall had broken metal protrusions that would painfully scratch my skin when held. The hairdryer was truly awful, the worst kind; it only blew hot air, very weakly. It had two settings, but on the second setting, it would smell like burning, so I could only use the first setting to slowly dry my hair. For women with long hair, drying it would be a real struggle. The lighting in the entire room was very dim, and the bedding felt a bit damp. The only good thing was that the room was quite spacious, with a sofa and a dining table, big enough for four people to lounge around comfortably. The check-in process was relatively quick, and the service attitude was good. The breakfast was also decent; the two elderly people were very satisfied with the variety and taste."

"I saw reviews mentioning it was an older hotel before I went, so I was a bit worried about outdated facilities. However, after checking in, I found it to be quite good! While some furniture and wallpaper definitely show their age, I think it's acceptable. You can tell from the pictures that the hotel has a good aesthetic, and they've clearly put in time and effort to maintain it well. The front desk service during check-in was just right – very friendly but not overly enthusiastic. I got an upgraded room thanks to my Trip.com benefits, and they even reminded me that I could get discount coupons at the Japanese restaurant on the third floor. The hotel's swimming pool is very well-maintained! The water quality is excellent. Probably because the shallowest part is 1.7 meters deep, everyone there is actually serious about swimming! It's fantastic!!! Big thumbs up! The only slight disappointment was that there are quite a few foreign guests at the hotel. Despite clear signs in both Chinese and English, with large notices on the door to the hot spring area stating no electronic devices are allowed, I still encountered a foreigner doing exactly that. I immediately spoke up. From her reaction, it didn't seem like she was unaware. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management; these rules shouldn't only apply to obedient local guests, otherwise, it's really quite unsafe. Perhaps they could add an extra reminder during check-in and when getting keys for the changing room. They shouldn't avoid saying anything due to language barriers or fear of trouble (after all, every time I went to get the changing room key, I was reminded of the closing time)."

"The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful. The pool view is stunning, and my kids absolutely loved it, wanting to spend all day in the water. The staff at the facilities were warm and friendly. The gym facilities are also great, and all the staff were enthusiastic and quick to respond to guest requests. It was a very comfortable stay."

The room was very stylish, every detail reflecting thoughtfulness and sincerity: the marble shower, the brass bathtub, the mattress worn by Wang Xiaofei (a famous Chinese actor), and the tangible sound of ocean waves—words cannot describe its beauty; you have to experience it for yourself. I sincerely recommend everyone experience it. In the midst of life's chaos, find a moment of tranquility—for yourself, and only yourself."

"Our first stop in Dalian was this Holiday Inn, and it was an excellent experience. Our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive until the early hours of the morning, but the staff member in black was incredibly attentive. Despite the late hour, they patiently helped us with check-in, explained all the facilities, and even offered to carry our luggage to the room. We were a family of three, and even though our room originally included breakfast for two, the hotel kindly added a third complimentary breakfast every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and tidy, the hotel grounds were spacious, and it was convenient to get to the beach. As an international chain, Holiday Inn consistently delivers on quality, and I highly recommend it."

"Et virkelig godt hotel og personalet var meget venligt.De renoverede uden for hotellet, lige ved vores vinduer.Vi bad om et andet værelse og straks tilbød de 2 andre tilgængelige værelser, som vi kunne vælge fra. Det eneste negative var, at morgenmad var den samme hver morgen.Det føltes, som om de kunne have ændret det efter to dage, men generelt meget glad.Vil helt sikkert blive på hotel igen for alle vores fremtidige Dalian-ture."
