"The hotel just right by the main road. Easy to be founded. It was really disappointed to climb up to level 3 with our 30kg bags. The room was spacious for us with a nice view. The staff brought the drinks to our room and help to order some food. We bought different room for the next day. Unfortunately we were told that the room was in another building. So we cancelled the room since it was not stated in the details when we did the booking. Other than that we got nothing to complain about."

"Tired of the monotonous daily grind, I decided to take a break and clear my head. Dali during the off-season is quite pleasant; it’s lovely to just walk around and explore. Alternatively, picking a nice, comfortable hotel to unwind and breathe is also a great option... (After much deliberation, I finally booked this one.) As soon as you open the door, you can see the Cangshan Mountains, flowing clouds, and the ancient town. Walk a short distance downstairs and you’re at Dali Ancient Town. It’s a perfect location, quiet yet convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The room features tasteful soft furnishings and furniture. The common areas are also very well-designed, blending contemporary art and modern minimalism with Bai ethnic elements. Every corner offers a beautiful view, creating a wonderful ambiance... I particularly love the swimming pool on the second floor and the rooftop terrace. They're perfect for relaxing or enjoying afternoon tea. It’s good to allow yourself to 'waste' time on beautiful things."

"10/10 – Excellent Stay We had a wonderful 2-night stay in the Suite. The private hot tub and sauna were a big hit with our children. The room was modern, well-equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located in a vibrant new district, and a Didi ride to Dali Old Town is quick and inexpensive. The staff and owner were warm, friendly, and very attentive. Breakfast was good and convenient for families before a day of sightseeing. After a long day out, coming back to the room felt like having our own private spa."

The service was also top-notch; both the front desk staff and the auntie preparing breakfast were super warm and attentive. "This is my favorite inn I've stayed at in Dali. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought and effort into running it. From the moment you walk in, to the lobby, stairs, hallways, and balconies, every design element is incredibly thoughtful. There are sofas in every corner, perfect for lounging around. I visited in May during hydrangea season, and seeing all the flowers and plants was so therapeutic. I didn't even need to leave; I could have stayed inside all day without getting bored. And if you love animals, they have cats too!"

The only inconvenience is the traffic jams during holidays; driving, taking a taxi, and using public transportation are all difficult."

"Staying at Dali Tianhai Yunzan was an absolute dream! Step out of your room, and you're greeted by a courtyard bursting with hydrangeas and a gorgeous swing. Every photo taken there is postcard-perfect, with the breathtaking Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake stretching out in the distance. Even better, the owner upgraded us to a king room for free! Parking was super convenient, they helped with our luggage without us even asking, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Amazing value for money. This place is so comfortable, and the views are incredibly therapeutic. Highly, highly recommend!"

"Værelset var ret rummeligt og rent.Hotellet var også placeret tæt på nogle store fotospots.Der var mange smukke caféer tæt på. Jeg troede, hotellet havde en swimmingpool, men det viser sig, at poolen kun er tilgængelig for visse rumtyper.Det er imidlertid for koldt til svømning 😄.En shuttlebil var tilgængelig for at hente dig til og fra hotellet og porten. Morgenmaden på hotellet havde to muligheder: kinesiske risnødder og Western Spaghetti & Omelette, og de var smagfulde.Husholderen Xiao Luo og Fei Fei er meget nyttige for Xixi til at forklare via WeChat, som vi ikke forstår kinesisk."
