"A good 5-star hotel with a large pool, private stables, a farm, a small zoo, a wonderful fitness center, a large pool, and an ATV track. The buffet breakfast isn't very varied, but it has everything you need. It's modest, but delicious. The staff is polite, friendly, and welcoming. Prices in the restaurant and spa are extremely reasonable (for a 5-star hotel). There are both guest rooms and separate villas with private pools. The villa is excellent, spacious, with a king-size bed, a bathroom, plenty of windows, a large (for a private) pool, and a beautiful sea view. During our visit, the shoreline was littered with trash, which completely discouraged swimming (thankfully, there was a private pool in the villa, as well as a large shared pool at the hotel). The area was also littered with leaves from the numerous ficus trees on the property. I assume this was due to the recent typhoons, which washed a lot of seaweed, branches, and debris from the sea onto the shore. The hotel staff was actively involved in cleaning throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel grounds are well-kept and attractive, with trimmed lawns and well-maintained trees. The grounds, mind you, are very large, requiring a significant staff to maintain them."

"Pros: The property is located very near the port (5min walk). It is also situated at the beach front, near restaurants. Cons: 1. It’s old. Though old, it could have been better if cleanliness is maintained 2. The staff are not so warm and welcoming. 3. The water in the shower is a bit salty. Seems like the water coming out of the faucet is from the ocean :) Hope the management will clean the property well. It really has a good potential considering the location."

"The hotel was above expectations overall. The environment and sanitation were good. There's a beach right at the door and a dive shop next to it. It's probably one of the best hotels in Mama Island. The free half-hour spa experience was great. I'll definitely stay at this hotel next time I go diving in Mama Island."

"We loved this hotel as the location is beautiful with a fantastic view over the blue sea and the clear water. The little beach is protected which means, you can only go to sea for snorcheling which is fantastic as this hotel makes a big contribution to keep the seaworld as much protected as possible. Who does not like this or wants a place to swim and play in the water should choose another ressort. The rooms are beautiful and the food in both restaurants are delicious with a fantastic Italian focus. The manager Andrea is always there and you can see that he is putting all his effort in this wonderful resort. We had two dinners at the restaurant and really had excellent dishes. We will come back!"

"What an amazing experience. The sense of calm, the closeness to the sea, the service, and the food — everything exceeded expectations. We had a wonderful time on the beach just steps from the ocean. The rooms were simple yet comfortable, and the views were stunning. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, with a warm, family-like atmosphere and more staff than guests. Everyone working there was friendly and genuinely service-minded. Every morning, we were greeted with happy smiles and welcomed by name, which made us feel truly cared for. The diving and the organization around it were world-class. The dives with the thresher sharks were especially magical and very well arranged. Early mornings were required, but it meant being first on site and having the incredible opportunity to watch these beautiful and majestic sharks glide into the cleaning station. We were unlucky and lost our luggage for almost an entire week. The reception staff helped us with all the contact with the airport and did everything they could to support us. My husband had packed his contact lenses and medication in the checked bag, and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They even managed to arrange similar contact lenses with almost the exact prescription he needed. They also organized for a representative to travel all the way to Cebu and back on our behalf — a four-hour journey each way. We are so grateful for everything and will give the very best recommendations whenever possible. Thank you for everything! Veronica with family"
