"Meget detaljeret og varm velkomst med en drink ved ankomsten og let check in.Hotel morgenmad var i stand til at bestille som at tage sandwich væk, når man går til tidlig dykning, som blev værdsat. Strandside-konfigurationen er blandt de bedste af øen god forfordret en cocktail eller middag, selv om mad ikke er yummy, bedre gå til Fajitas ved siden af døren og derefter en cocktail til udsigten her. Værelserne er godt udstyret, vandtryk og temperatur er ønskelige, men godt, du er på Malapascua for hajerne ikke for store stjerner 😌 stadig havde en god og behagelig ophold i alt!"

"The stay was nice. However, my gf left a soft teddy orca in the room. 100% it was left there. We packed in a rush. We tried to contact them and the number on Google doesn't even belong to the hostel, it's some random person who isn't even on malapascua. A friend went by to ask if they'd found it and they said they didn't. There's no chance this is true. One of the staff has taken it. NOT good service, and NOT what you expect from a hotel/hostel when you leave something behind. Normal practice is to contact the guest and arrange to mail it it or something. Unacceptable. Willing to change this review if someone contacts us regarding this. It's of sentimental value to her."

"I’m writing this review as a warning for other travelers as walk-in guests. My first stay here was booked via a platform and went fine. However, during a later stay booked directly as a walk-in, I had a serious issue. I stayed one night, and the next morning asked to extend for two more nights. The extension was agreed verbally, and payment was accepted. Later that same evening, I received a WhatsApp message saying I would have to check out the next day due to overbooking. This is not acceptable. Once payment is taken and a stay is confirmed, overbooking is the hotel’s responsibility, not the guest’s. Particularly on a small island where accommodation options are limited. I didn’t argue at the time and left quietly, as there was no written confirmation. Only after returning to the mainland did I decide to leave this review. If you plan to stay here as a walk-in, be aware that your booking may not be respected after payment."

"Did not have water when we checked in and tried to shower. Toilet in room would not flush well. AC went off half way through the night and was hot in the room. Our room faced the bar on second floor and music was loud and playing late.  Location is great, wait staff and front desk staff are friendly and helpful.  Beach area is nice and has plenty of seating."

"We had a grand time celebrating Christmas at this resort. We stayed at their A-frame house which was quite a distance from the restaurant, but distance is not a concern though because the resort is surrounded by trees that one won't mind taking a leisurely walk. Also, if one is not so into walking or a senior/pwd like me, a shuttle or a tuktuk (tricycle) is readily available to bring you anywhere within the resort. You'll never get bored staying here as there's a number of activities you can enjoy like the kayaking, pedal boating, fish feeding, cycling, playing billiards and they also have playground for kids. The beach was nice, though we didn't enjoy it that much because of the big waves during that time. They also have swimming pools. Also, i love their gazebo by the beach, where you can enjoy your meal while enjoying the sea breeze. The staff are well-trained, best customer service, courteous, friendly, prompt, professional and most importantly - smiling. The downside though was the airconditioning problem at the loft on our first night, so we have to transfer to the house next door. No big deal for me. Kudos to the staff and management of the Golden Sands Destination Resorts! Thank you for accommodating us! Till next time... in the near future...."

"Underlig ophold hotellet har en fremragende beliggenhed tæt på havnen, hvilket gør det nemt at nå med bagage, og det er bare en kort gåtur fra smukke Bounty Beach og mange restauranter. Morgenmaden var enkel, men komplet, og ejendommen er i stor tilstand med alle de komforter, der var nødvendige for livet på Malapascua Island.Alt var meget ren, og personalet var venligt og velkommen. Garden er vel vedligeholdt. Jeg ville helt sikkert blive her igen!"

"Ideally located for diving. If you are looking for a cheap but decent place, this is it. The bads: The cleaning was not great, and the sheets had permanent stains. The staff at the reception were not very friendly nor profesional. They don't serve neither lunch nor dinner. Now the positives: The rooms have an option AC (recommended), and fresh towels are given every two days. Ideally situated, close to all restaurants and Diving centers. Maintenance staff were very nice and helped us out often. Tip: to be a good guest, turn off your AC when you are not in the room (they acknowledge and appreciate it)."
