"Been going here since a certain Mr Brown owned it back in the day. Have seen many changes since it was a coach house, the restaurant then, was a room at the front, with a small reception area and few rooms. Nowadays, it has become a local landmark, oozing a luxury charm, affording fabulous views and excellent service. We have stayed in all the different accommodations except the large lodges, being only two of us. We have always had a welcoming reception from all members of staff, and our last visit was no different. We stayed in a garden suite, which in our opinion, offer excellent value, beautifully decorated, and spotless, with all mod cons. We dined too, in the bright and airy Afton restaurant, with attentive staff and lovely food. We have made many friends with the staff over the years, a few have moved on, but still met Steff , a lass thats been there for so long, we have become like family. We are returning very soon, to our happy place, thanks to all staff, for another lovely stay."
