"We stayed at this hotel on 6 April 2026 for one night and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Firstly, the air conditioning in the room did not work at all. The room felt like an oven, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in, especially after a long day of travelling. To make matters worse, the sliding door could not open, so there was no ventilation whatsoever. The television was not working, and there was no fridge in the room, which is something you would reasonably expect from a hotel. When we asked for ice, we were told we would have to pay R30 just for an ice bucket – unbelievable, considering the R1 678 we paid for the one-night stay. Another issue was that there was no hot water because the geysers in our block was off. This meant we could not even shower. Maintenance came to the room and confirmed all the faults, so these were clearly known issues. Reception then offered to move us to another room, but by that time it was too late – my son had already fallen asleep on the bed without being able to shower after a long day. Overall, this was a horrible experience and extremely disappointing. The room was clearly not properly checked or maintained before guests arrived. We will never book with this hotel again and would strongly advise others to reconsider before staying here."

"Hvilken fantastisk ophold vi havde på forev vild !! Fra at byde os velkommen ved porten til receptionen, gik alt glat damen på forreste skrivebord var helt fantastisk. Området er roligt, og der er mange dyr at se rundt. Værelserne var smukke, og alt, hvad du havde brug for, var der.Personalet er ekstremt venligt og hjælpsomt. Morgenmaden var fremragende 👌 Der er et par restauranter i området bare spørge, og de vil guide dig der. Sørg for at betale konserveringsgebyret, når du går ind i Dinokeng og får en selvdrevs reservetilladelse. Jeg ville bestemt gå tilbage og blive længere!"
