Trivelles Gatwick Hotel & Airport Parking ★★★

📍 Ifield, Ifield Avenue, Charlwood Rd, Crawley

"This hotel is terrible, and it's supposedly a 3-star property: 1. The front desk kept sending me messages, stating that if I didn't check in before 11 AM, I wouldn't be able to. This is completely unreasonable. 2. After checking in, the front desk didn't inform me that I needed to pre-book breakfast. I thought breakfast was already included in the bill, but when I went down for breakfast in the morning, the front desk told me I didn't have a meal reserved. The service staff were all Indian, and not only was their accent difficult to understand, but they were also discriminatory!"

Travelodge Crawley ★★★

📍 Pegler Way, Crawley

"We stayed at the Travelodge from 2–9 July and had two family rooms. Overall, we had a good stay. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet was what you would expect from a typical English breakfast. One of my sons has autism (ASD) and unfortunately kept misplacing his room key. I understand this may have been frustrating, and while one member of staff seemed a little impatient and appeared annoyed by the situation, most of the staff were friendly and understanding. I would especially like to thank Eden, the receptionist, who was professional, kind and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their understanding and excellent customer service made a real difference during what was a difficult time for our family. Overall, despite one negative interaction, we are grateful for the kindness and support shown by the majority of the staff, and we appreciate the care Eden gave us. Despite being in a central location, the room was surprisingly quiet, and we slept well The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The hotel was busy but felt safe and comfortable. Its central location meant there was always plenty going on nearby, with restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance, while the hotel itself remained a good place to return to after a day out."

Radisson Red Gatwick Airport ★★★★
"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable visit, though unfortunately, there was a stain on my pillow when I checked in. Navigating the hotel with suitcases was also terribly inconvenient; my room was on the third floor, but access was poor, even with the elevator. The staff were unhelpful—no one greets you when you walk in. They are busy with "more important" things, like pretending to work at their computer screens. The service was nonexistent. There was a small gym where you could get a basic workout in. The room had a great shower with good water pressure and clean water. Location-wise, you can even walk to Tesco. To get to the airport, you need to order a taxi or take the bus—it’s just a one-stop ride."

Travelodge Crawley ★★★
"Myself and my teenager thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Crawley travelodge. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and well supplied with soap, coffee, etc. The hotel was clean, pleasant and airy and inside was quiet and peaceful throughout the time we were there. The only noise came from the nearby roads and was as would be expected when staying in a town cente. The location is ideal, 3 minutes walk from a leisure park with bowling, cinema, arcade and various restaurants. 5 minutes walk in the other direction is the large shopping mall with plenty of shops for all ages, inside and out. Free parking in the underground car park next door to the hotel was a brilliant bonus, and the trai station is only about 5 minutes walk away too."
