"I booked my father in for a night at Ballyliffin TownHouse while he was visiting family, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better experience for him. From the moment he arrived, the staff went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, he was treated with such kindness & genuine care throughout his stay. He said the hotel was spotless, cosy, and had such a lovely, homely atmosphere. The new spa and location were perfect, close to the beach and other hotels for a bit of company. He enjoyed a peaceful rest in the afternoon and some good conversation & laughter in the bar later on. The Irish breakfast was a real highlight, beautifully cooked with plenty of choice & served with a warm smile. He left saying he felt truly cared for and was genuinely sad to go. A huge thank you to everyone at Ballyliffin TownHouse for looking after him so well. True Irish hospitality at its very best !!"

"When driving on a country road with beautiful scenery, you will see dots of exquisite small houses. Woodhill is a family hotel that cannot be seen even when walking on the road. It can be reached by driving deep into the dense forest-like path. You need to prepare a signal and psychological; but after arriving, you will find that if you want to experience the Irish countryside, you should come to Woodhill. John is a sincere grandfather who has eleven grandchildren who have stayed in Hong Kong. It is interesting to chat with him. It is really quiet at night. It's nice to get away from the lights for a while."

"Great hostel, we were made feel at home by Leon and Gillian from the get go. We were amedium group of students and staff. The house is cosy, we got absolutley soaked on our first day walking and met Leon on the road, I asked him did he have a fireplace and when we got back to the hostel the stove was blazing and we sat beside it for a couple of hours warming up and drying off. They were good craic, welcoming and chatty. The breakfast was good. Room were good and comfortable. Gillian even leant us a boardgame which we had great fun with for 2 evenings after a days walking. I would reccomend and we'll certainly be back. Thanks again for the duck tape Leon! Conall"

"Had dinner in the bar and the food and atmosphere was amazing. Staff were lovely and very attentive. They have definitely upped their game and we will be back if this is the standard they are delivering. Just one bit of feedback - need to push the specials more as we had to ask and that is what we went for. Other than that, loved it."

"Amazing stay, absolutely stunning view from our apartment and everything we needed on our doorstep for a quiet weekend getaway, taking the dog for a walk along the pier and beach, and eating at the restaurant next door. Very secure for child and pup and the play area is an absolute bonus. We loved it and will be back. Thank you!"

"What a beautiful place, 1st impression when we arrived outside we said looks okay. Inside was really lovely as the owners are spanish the house has a lovely spanish feel about it. We had a room upstairs the Ballylifin room inside was very cosy the bed was super comfy had the best nights sleep. The bathroom was just as good lovely soft towels and a good shower. The other dressing room which had a door to close from the bedroom was great plenty of hangers drawer space & I thought it was a good idea making it a room away from your sleep room. The whole place was spotlessly clean. I liked the idea of no TV in your room instead it was in the breakfast room which felt more like your home and not stuck in your bedroom. Clara had loads of games if you wanted to play them too. The breakfast was superb & Clara's home made bread was delicious. My hubby really enjoyed his fry and his stay as it was his birthday Clara recommend Simpsons in claredonagh for dinner which was 5+ the food is excellent. We just really enjoyed our stay and it felt like we were in Spain instead of Ireland apart from the weather. We will be staying here again hopefully maybe some time this year."
