"Ugly single room on the top floor. It was as if she lived in a dovecote. It’s not even like that, something between a dovecote and a cell. Small dark room with a view of the wall. The bed is like I'm in a barracks. Everything is uncomfortable. There is no stand for the suitcase. The View Room is only open for breakfast. Maybe there are better rooms. But I don't recommend a single room."

"Am amazing place surrounded by beautiful countryside topped off with amazing hosts. Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 nights but hopefully we get chance to revisit later in the year. Everything about the place is so relaxing with a beautiful pool and wonderful breakfast outside. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Even better was that the owners own a beautiful golden retriever/labrador who loves being fussed which makes it even more relaxing staying here if that was possible. If you are thinking of coming to this region don’t hesitate to stay here."

His down to earth charm and humor was equalled by his attentiveness to everything and anything. The property was pure Tuscan storybook charm as well, exactly what I was hoping for ! Augusto's recommendations on dining was exceptional as well as many tips for do's and don't's of the area. The accomodations were EXACTLY what is pictured in the website. The photo I added was all ours for the entire stay. In short if you're spending time in and around Cortona (6 days like we did) ... STAY AT VILLA AUGUSTO !!"

My wife and I stayed in the "Passeri" apartment, all the comforts are present, and the apartment is wonderful with views on the main square "Piazza della Repubblica" and yet it is quiet thanks to the excellent infixes that are there. The owners are friendly and very available."
