"Hospitality is great. Location is very near to tram station around 200m which is accessible to town area. There are good food around the hotel especially in Almada area. Overall is good. Recommended to people who don’t want to stay in Lisbon town. This is a great choice."

"A quiet, very comfortable, and pleasant hotel with excellent decor and spacious rooms. Good restaurant and good breakfasts. One of the best hotel pools I've seen, and although small, it's enough to cool off and spend the day. The only thing missing is a larger garden area for strolling. It's a 10-minute drive from the best beaches in Costa d'Caperica and excellent restaurants of all kinds. The staff is very helpful at all times."

This time i even needed to discuss with the receptionist, that we get an additional blanket. Ive stayed all over the world in many hotels from luxurious to chep but they all had a better service than this hotel."

Boavista 83 Hostel Lisbon

"I originally wanted to book a female-only dorm, but it was already sold out. I really liked the hostel and the location, so before booking I called the reception to ask about it. I was told that if a female-only room became available they could place me there, and if not, they would put me in a mixed dorm with more female guests. I also mentioned this again during check-in. But in the end I was placed in a room with five men and no other female guests at all. As a solo female traveler, this honestly made me feel really uncomfortable and anxious the whole night. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the male staff member working at night, a man with long curly hair. I was already very nervous and just politely asked whether there were any other girls staying in the room, but he looked annoyed and kept saying “but you booked a mixed dorm” instead of actually answering my question. I understand what a mixed dorm is, but after being given completely different expectations before arrival, the whole situation made me feel very unsafe and uncared for. I will never recommend this hostel to others. Really made me so disappointed."
