"We stayed one night in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was compact, well equipped and well furnished. It was clean and well maintained. There was a comfortable sofa and an outdoor dining area on the verandah. Aircons and shower worked well. The double bed sagged a little in the middle. The manager was friendly and helpful. One of the better cabin accommodations we have used in our current roadtrip."

"So glad we booked here. Nice and quiet secluded area yet still close to town, excellent service and hospitality by the owners. Food was delicious as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cooktown and would definitely book with them again! "

"I stayed 4 nights. It is basically a backpackers converted to motel . There was a communal kitchen and shared bathroom. The rooms were small but had all the things needed. T.v and Wifi although wifi didn't work.....but is seemed to be the case throughout Cooktown. The garden was leafy providing lots of shade with cozy seating books throughout. Rules were simple security pretty good. Its a sweet place if you're mood needing luxurious facilities. Wirth the cheaper rate paid"

"All caravan parks are not equal. Cooktown Holiday Park is a standout. Well kept grounds, clean amenities and beautiful large grassy sites. Kris at reception was professional and friendly and was very helpful with things to do and places to eat. No need to visit the info centre with a very detailed pack with maps and info. Dave showed us to our site and was very helpful. The fisho van comes every afternoon with fresh seafood. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 "

"Fantastisk oplevelse, ideelt, hvis du elsker at leve i naturen. Isabella er meget venlig og meget kompetent, kabiner er vigtige, men meget rene og rene, udstyret med WiFi til en korrekt og nødvendig brug, unødvendig at misbruge, bedre nyde enhver støj fra skoven. Der er en lille og behagelig swimmingpool og grillplads. Morgenmad (inklusive) er mere end tilfredsstillende. Med en lidt udfordrende gåtur på ca. 1 km kan du nå en fantastisk skjult vandfald og kan bade i det naturlige bad ved foden af vandet selv. Den rolige og afslappet atmosfære her er helt genstand for enhver stress eller angst i hverdagen. Synd, at vi kun havde tilbragt en nat, men vi vidste ikke, hvor meget det var værd. Jeg vil gerne sige, at jeg er en af de bedste steder, jeg nogensinde har set, og hvis jeg kan komme tilbage, så må jeg absolut gå over til Mungumby i en perfekt tour i Queensland."

"This is a Five Star Retreat from the moment you turn the bend in the drive, it is absolutely stunning. The lush tropical gardens are immaculate and full of wildlife, birds, butterflies and flowers. The place is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were yummy. Do book an evening meal Sue is a wonderful cook, and it is great fun listening to Tony’s stories (he’s a natural comedian). On a personal note thank you for Rays turmeric coffees and his walking stick."
