"Staff is wonderful. Hotel has been updated but still shows a little wear. Pool is lovely. In our room we Noticed a brown stain on rug near table. Also noted on our last morning there that the sheet in one area had a yellow hue. Odd. We were busy so we didn’t notify staff until after we left. That said, I did notify and they were responsive. Location on Michigan is awesome. Easy to walk to restaurants, train, etc. Location was fab."

"I was stranded in Chicago for one day due to flight changes, so I chose this Westin by chance. The main reason was the favorable price. There were almost no people walking on the surrounding roads, so it was very safe. The room decoration and service met the standards of a five-star hotel. There was a Japanese ramen restaurant downstairs, which tasted good. There was an Armenian restaurant opposite, which had a large portion and was worth trying."
