"Just recently stayed at JWMarriot at Marco Island. (March 12-15) Reserved two rooms that were supposed to be Kings with pullout bed. When we arrived and checked in we had two king rooms with no pullout bed. We had our grandchildren with us and we needed the pullout beds. Hotel agreed to provide roll out bed but very uncomfortable and not what we paid for. I have requested a refund"

"Understaffed,old, run down and over priced. It too 5 yup 5 hours to get our room. The reservation was messed up I was supposed to be on high floor with adjoining room. I was placed on 1st floor when I complained I was given 2 rooms on different floors then finaly 2 room on 5th floor. So many people there very upset at both check in and out. People waiting even longer than me for their rooms. Ordered food at pool and it took 2 hours for cold rubbery hot dog. Terrible. 360 grill was over priced and dirty. Terrible Terrible time. Also the bed was so hard we couldn't even sleep."

"From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we were treated like royalty from the entire staff. I had asked for special arrangements to be set up in our room prior to arrival and they were done exactly as requested. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a private patio where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The pool and hot tub were easily accessible and pristine. The restaurant has a very fine menu and the food is deliciously prepared. The wait staff at the restaurant is very attentive and also knowledgeable about the extensive wine list. The beach butler service is most convenient. The front desk staff is also very helpful and congenial. Marco (the person of all trades at The Escalante) is indispensable and helped us multiple times daily at a moments notice. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone visiting Naples or locals in Naples wanting a romantic getaway!"
