"My granddaughter was getting married So I booked into the Bellbridge house hotel for 3 nights, the staff were so friendly and helpful it was like visiting relatives. We had our younger granddaughter with us a last minute arrangement because she was a bridesmaid and had to have her make-up done very early next morning, and her parents could not arrive until later the following day. I rang the hotel and immediately the problem was solved. On the day of the wedding, they were having a civil ceremony, the venue was beautifully decorated and we had a wonderful ceremony. Later that day we indulged in the most wonderful food , the roast beef was delicious and really enjoyed it. Then came the dessert a wonderful collection of tantalising choice presented on the plate, from the mini hot appletart with custard , macaroons, chocolate fudge cake ,ice cream, raspberry cheesecake and tiny round éclairs all served with a extra helping of fresh cream, it was just perfect. Also because my husband is diabetic , they served him a beautiful fresh fruit salad. The Bellbridge house hotel in Milltown Malbay in Clare, is without a doubt, the most visually beautiful, warm and friendly place, with the most comfortable rooms. That I and my husband has ever stayed in. Well done to Everyone."

"The owner was incredibly kind and helpful from the start. We called her to let her know we were late for check-in: she immediately reassured us that she would wait for us until around 10:00 PM without any problem. As soon as we arrived, in addition to showing us the property, she let us choose our breakfast for the next day (both sweet and savory options, all homemade) and our preferred time. In the morning, however, we realized we needed to have breakfast about 40 minutes earlier: again, the owner accommodated us, allowing us to have breakfast at the requested time despite the short notice. After breakfast, the owner even offered to take some scones with us as a snack during the trip. The property is small but very welcoming and well-maintained. Highly recommended!"

Armada House

"We stayed in one of the dog friendly courtyard rooms in the Armada house and from start to finish it was superb. When we checked in we were given a tasty welcome drink in the Parlour. The whole house is an interiors dream and the attention to detail is amazing. The room itself was homely, bright, beautifully decorated and lots of space. There was even dog treats, water and a dog bowl left for our dog - they really have thought of everything! Staff were warm and welcoming. Special mention to Susan serving the amazing breakfast in the cosy and homely Mabel’s space and the lovely brown bread loaf to take home - what a treat and a nice touch. Can’t wait to go back!"
