Sercotel Guadiana ★★★★

"A great hotel in the heart of La Manche The experiences of staying at Sercotel Guadiana remained mostly positive. It is a classic Spanish 4-star hotel located in the city of Cyudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castile La Mancha. What liked: · Perfect location. The hotel is almost in the center, just 600 meters from the historic part of the city. To the Don Quihota Museum and Gaset Park 5 minutes walk · Welcome, friendly and professional staff. · Clean and comfortable. The room is very clean, with a large bathroom. · Great plus free underground parking. · Good facilities. The hotel has an indoor and seasonal outdoor pool, a fitness center and a restaurant with local cuisine. · The interior is classic. The hotel is decorated in old-fashioned, “grand” style. What is worth taking into account: · Breakfast is scarce, honestly Summary: Sercotel Guadiana excellent choice for acquaintance with the city. Combining convenient location, welcome service and free parking makes it a very attractive option. Despite some nuances, the overall impression from the hotel remains very good."

NH Ciudad Real ★★★★

"Great room quality, but the pet policy needs major improvement Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Having recently stayed at another property in the NH chain (Valencia Las Ciencias), I found the quality at NH Ciudad Real to be significantly better. 🟢 The Positives Excellent Room Quality: The bedroom here was a massive step up. It was much bigger, incredibly clean, and everything felt well-maintained. Overall Standard: The overall comfort and room standards definitely exceeded my previous experience with the chain. 🔴 The Cons Disappointing Pet Amenities: Unfortunately, the policy for traveling with dogs remains a weak point. The hotel charges a steep €25 per night pet fee, yet they provided absolutely nothing for that price. There wasn't even a basic water bowl/plate left in the room for the dog.  Final Verdict If you are looking for a spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable room, this hotel is a fantastic choice. However, if you are traveling with a pet, be prepared to pay a premium fee without receiving any pet-friendly amenities in return."
