"they seem to be fraud, on purpose selling more rooms than they have. I have arrived in the middle of the night and was told that there is no more rooms although I have already payed for it. Only then I have read comments and eventually it happens almost once a month. In the end they offered me staying in the basement. To summarize very dirty place, the smell is awful and there is this story with overbooking. Not recommended at all"

"Berd’s is a brilliant place to stay in Chișinău. The rooms are well-decorated and have everything you need, and the bar, restaurant (you must eat here at least once during your stay the food is divine) and spa all add to what is already a very good hotel. Where it truly stands out, though, is the staff. In hundreds of hotels I have never encountered service quite like it — particular credit to Nelu and Anton, who were exceptional throughout. We were visiting for my father’s birthday and they went well out of their way to make the trip run smoothly. Whenever we had questions or needed something arranged, they were available on WhatsApp and replied instantly, always with helpful recommendations or able to book things for us when needed. That level of service is the reason we will absolutely be back next time we visit this beautiful city. Thank you for making it a truly special visit."

"The biggest issue with this hotel is that several of the rooms have no curtains. So very early in the morning, you'll get super bright daylight! We've complained about it and they gave us a different room, which we initially thought didn't have that problem but... we unfortunately noticed later it was the same! Also, the two rooms we got were both having very unpleasant sewage smell Still putting 3 star because the new room they gave us was much better overall than the original one."

"The hotel is very nice and relatively close to the city centre. The main drawback of the hotel is that it is tightly enclosed by other block of flats and therefore you better avoid to look out of the window. People smoking on the balcony of the opposite house may occassionally may a bothering noise but I experienced that only two times during my more than a month long stay. Otherwise, the hotel is well equipped with everything making one feel comfortable, eg. carpeting in the rooms and corridors lowering noise level to minimum، curtains darkering the room completely، comfortable matteraces etc. Hotel guests may use a fitness room and a sauna, as well as services of a really good masseur. The breakfast choice is good enough for such a small hotel, but nothing special for people with dietery needs. Sometimes I was missing white joghurt but they added it the next day. And what was really good, all guests can order proper coffee from a lobby bar for free during the breakfast. The hotel staff is nice though only receptionists and one bartender can speak English. The rest do not speak English at all which is probably the second main drawback of the hotel. Those people are shy to react to the guests wishes and therefore avoid meeting them face to face, greeting them etc. which looks sometimes really strange. But anyway, I spent really good time there and would recommend the hotel to my friend. "

"Surprisingly new! It is a 2 bedrooms apartment with kitchen. Even though we don’t get chance to use it still looks very decent with everything you need if you would like to cook. Very spacious with adequate amenities. You can even do laundry if you’re staying longer! Comfy beds with air conditioning as well!"
