"Beware Australian travellers. Avoid the hotel restaurant. My friends and myself were part of a Tripadeal group, we stayed two nights. We decided to eat at the restaurant for dinner after a busy day sightseeing in Venice. We were not offered a menu & we were directed to a very basic buffet.The buffet looked scarce as most guests were eating when we arrived. The mediteranian baked vegetables & baked fish looked stale. The desert was nice, with a good selection. We could not see how much the buffet was and when we asked, we were directed to sit. We had a glass of wine each. The next day they told us the bill for dinner was $55 Euro ($91 AUD) each person. We objected the price as we were very dissapointed with what was basically leftovers. The hotel manager would not compromise. The following night we ate at a local restaurant for $26 euro including a shared bottle of wine & entree & desert."

"We were there recently for 10 days. Slightly outdated hotel in a busy place that is well run by a fantastic family. Stefano is the nicest and most diligent person we have ever met on holiday. Everything is there to make a holiday 'fantastico'. The rooms lack nothing, air conditioning, mini fridge, good WiFi, balcony, etc. Nice breakfast and fair prices in the bar. Parking for the car easily opposite the hotel. It's a pity that it is 1300 km from home for us, otherwise we would visit it more often, but we are still going back next year."

"I wouldn't go back. There are handwritten notes on the doors (RESPECT! NO....NO FOOD, NO SMOKING, DO NOT MAKE A MESS... AND MORE) that don't make a great first impression. There are also other handwritten notes in the room (DO NOT OPEN THE MOSQUITO NET AT THE WINDOW IF TOO MANY ARE ALREADY BROKEN) then you turn around and find another DO NOT PUT YOUR SUITCASES ON THE BED. Then at the door again... They could set some rules, but perhaps they could be displayed a little more professionally and all together and not give the impression that you're not welcome. The bedspread was all stained and the bathroom is really too embarrassing. And I personally have never been woken up by the cleaning lady for the excessive noise she was making while cleaning the other rooms. If you expect respect, then it should be given."
