"It's an old-style Japanese inn with a hot spring and a ping-pong area that appeared in a manga. There are many izakayas nearby. The staff were very helpful; they contacted us by email before we even checked in to ask if we needed breakfast, dinner, or a car for transportation. However, we only planned to stay for one night, so we didn't make any reservations. When we checked in, the staff even personally led us to our room and made tea for us. Thumbs up!"

"The explanation about the additional charges at the site was unhelpful, which caused some trouble. Trip.com made a reservation for 5 people, 3 adults, 1 junior high school student and 1 elementary school student, and the information on the meal plan was for 4 people, so we ordered an additional meal for 1 child. When we arrived at the facility, the agent told us that the reservation was for 4 people on *******, so we showed them the reservation screen to confirm that the reservation site was different and that the reservation was for 5 people. They said they understood the reservation details, so we asked how much the additional meal cost was, but we didn't get a clear answer at that point, and when we checked out, they said that there was no additional setting for meals only, so the regular price for 1 night and 2 meals (higher than the price via trip.com) would be the same price, but we were told that it was okay. No, no, we were only planning to pay for the additional child's meal, but there was no setting, so it would end up being more expensive, but they didn't answer when we asked, and we were told at checkout. It's not a facility with the latest equipment, but we enjoyed the hot springs, the room, and the food, so it was disappointing to leave the inn in an unpleasant mood."

"We used public transportation and requested a shuttle to Togura Station. We arrived 6-7 minutes early. While other inns' shuttles waited for the train before the scheduled arrival, ours arrived a little after the scheduled time. It was a very cold, windy, and rainy day, leaving us alone at the station. It would have been fine if the person who came to pick us up had simply said, "Sorry for keeping you waiting in the cold," even if it was just a lie. Instead, they simply said, "Please, Mr./Ms. XX," which was disappointing. Even when I told them I'd carry my own luggage, they brushed my hand aside and touched my luggage without permission, which was extremely unpleasant. Even at cheaper inns, I've never experienced someone arriving a little late to the scheduled time or touching my luggage without permission (brushing my hand away was out of the question). Furthermore, waiting for check-in in the cold, windy, and rainy weather was unpleasant, especially since I was chilled and just wanted to warm up in my room. Not everyone enjoys welcome drinks and sweets, so I think professional customer service would be better if they could understand what the guest wants, let them into their room first, and then decide on the hotel and meal times later. If they're going to make them wait, they could provide them with a blanket or show them closer to the heater. Treating everyone the same doesn't seem worth the price. The only saving grace is that the room and the in-room hot spring were the best I've ever experienced. The furniture and layout were tasteful, and the refurbishment was excellent. I think the shuttle service could be improved. It's unacceptable. Pushing away guests' hands is also unacceptable."

"Cost-cutting measures were noticeable. I went to the hot springs two minutes before 3:30 PM, as I was told it would be open then, but it was pitch black. I returned to my room, contacted the front desk, and they turned on the lights. I was staying in what was advertised as the only suite in the building, so I expected to have breakfast there as well as dinner, but I was with a family with children and it wasn't very relaxing. I wish they had at least provided private dining rooms for meals on the special suite floor. The evacuation route map posted on the room door was also from before the renovation. Dinner was delicious, with local ingredients skillfully prepared."

"Highly recommend this hotel! We arrived quite late; our original dinner reservation was for 7:30 PM, but we arrived at 8 PM. Hotel staff greeted us before we even entered, including some who spoke Chinese and English, and informed us that dinner was still available, which was a pleasant surprise. We stayed for three days, and the breakfasts and dinners every day were to our liking (those who don't eat beef can mention it beforehand). There was also free milk downstairs, which was delicious and came in various flavors. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel's hot spring facilities were excellent (even my silver jewelry changed color!). Soaking in the hot spring before bed was truly enjoyable. The hotel staff were also very polite. Since there aren't many restaurants nearby, this hotel includes breakfast and dinner, so we didn't have to look for other restaurants – a great choice."
