"Hotel location was great. This is easily the best commercial hotel option in Chau Doc. Dining area for breakfast was very warm though. Hotel should look into the AC especially since we are experiencing a heat wave."

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Paris Hôtel in Chau Doc, despite it being a simple establishment that probably qualifies as a two-star. The rooms were clean, with new sheets and a comfortable mattress. There were a few details that could be improved (a little dust under the bed and on the shelves), but overall, everything was very tidy. I noticed they're making several updates, such as the front door and the mattresses, a clear sign of care and a desire to improve. The real strength is the staff: incredibly helpful and honest. They helped us book the forest tour, including tickets, by contacting the visitor center reception directly. They rented us a scooter in perfect condition and didn't charge us anything extra, even when we were in a rush and didn't have time to refuel. They arranged our transfer to Can Tho, including bus reservations (with tickets already in hand!) and the shuttle bus to the station. The location is excellent for exploring the city's main attractions on foot. I also highly recommend renting a scooter and getting lost in the narrow streets to the north: rice paddies, coconut palms, canals, and small bridges create an unforgettable landscape. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English, which made everything even easier. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended."
