"Overall good. Pleasant arrival, helpful and friendly staff. Sadly we had a noisy room and the male member of reception staff was a little rude about and argumentative, which is a shame. Small gym and very little equipment, mostly cardio. Tea and coffee provided in the room but no milk not even small UHT sachets. I asked for a small amount to make a drink and was informed I’d need to pay €4 for it. I’ve never experienced this in a hotel before and was a little shocked - does seem a little stingy given the price of the rooms here. No cup of tea for this English person today! Oh well. Nice pool area. Overall though, good. Stayed at better, stayed at worse."

"Really good hotel to stay outside of the city of La Rochelle. The train station right next door, ten mins to the city centre. 2min walk to the beach and sea. Nice promenade with bars and restaurants. Very cool hip decor and very charming team of staff. Recommended."

"Spent 3 nights here as part of a tour of SW France. A lovely little hotel with extremely helpful staff. Our room (superior double) was exceptionally clean but not very big and very little storage space. Breakfast was good. Nice small pool for sunny days. A short walk to the centre of the resort where there are many restaurants. Secure car parking for extra charge which we used as had golf clubs with us but to be honest there is plenty of space on the street and it’s safe enough."

"It has been a long time since we have so looked forward to leaving a hotel. I get the idea of a simple beach front vibe where you can enjoy a place where land and sea come together. We have been savoring that environment throughout our lifetime. We also know that many people come to this sort of place with swim trunks, jeans and a gym bag. But this hotel was designed by a bunch of accountants with some nostalgia for college dorms. Whether you view the decor as cutesy, tacky or just a way to save money, the rooms are tight, cheaply provisioned and don't disguise their budget motel backbone. Granted, the lighting in the bathroom is good, the rainwater shower is not bad and everything is hygienic We didn't come here for the "thalasso" or the pool. The restaurant is one of the worst we have encountered in half a century of enjoying France. Breakfast was acceptable, thanks to some decent self catered coffee. The pastries are straight out of a discount supermarket. Yes, the real estate is valuable, and some explanation of the relatively high price. I don't recall many places that were so obsessed with insuring payment. Yes, I am willing to pay for two nights room and board at check in, but is that necessary when you already have my credit card information and Elite status with Accor? Yes, we usually stay at Accor's more upscale brands. But we have been to a few Ibis Styles. This one is best skipped."

"Min fætter og jeg fandt dette fantastiske hotel ved et uheld, og hvad en smykke det viste sig at være.Receptionspersonalet var så venligt og hjælpsomt, og hotellerne er friske, komfortabele og inviterede med masser af individuelle dekorationskontakt. Det var også spotløst.Udsigten til stranden fra mit soveværelsesvindue var vidunderlig.Vejret var perfekt, varmt og solrigt, hvilket altid hjælper.Der var masser af at vælge fra til morgenmad, alt smukt og frisk. Jeg kan ikke rose denne lille gemte nok, og det var så skamfuldt, at vi ikke kunne blive længere."
