"First off, the hotel's public order management is a serious issue. A large group of elderly guests monopolized the elevators for extended periods, being loud and blocking the doors, making going up and down incredibly slow and crowded – it felt more like a bustling market than a hotel. Despite having an important exam recently, the staff made no real effort to maintain order. I understand accommodating elderly guests, but they even managed to jam the revolving door until it stopped, and still no one intervened to manage the situation. It was absolutely outrageous. Anyone with important matters should definitely steer clear of this place. What made things even worse was the parking fee dispute at checkout. Due to the terrible experience, I decided to leave early and hoped the hotel would consider refunding the prepaid parking fee, given the abysmal service. To my surprise, the front desk staff was incredibly unaccommodating. They flat out refused to refund the parking fee, showing no willingness to negotiate or even attempt to de-escalate the situation, as if my previous complaints had fallen on deaf ears. This cold and robotic handling of the situation escalated my initial dissatisfaction directly into anger. After spending all that money, all I got was chaotic order, ineffective communication, and inflexible problem-solving. In my opinion, this hotel completely lacks a proper service mindset and the ability to resolve issues. Unless you have absolutely no expectations for your stay, I strongly advise you to choose wisely to avoid paying for such a frustrating experience, as we did."

Special praise goes to the lady at the first-floor restaurant. We ordered a set meal on the 4th, and when a small issue arose, she promptly and kindly helped resolve it!"

"Having experienced hotels of all levels, I can confidently say that the Herun Hotel offers exceptional value for money, with quality that far surpasses similarly priced options. The service was exceptional. We stayed here for the entire five-night stay, from the beginning to the end. Our receptionist, Tianzhou, was incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate every need. The rest of the hotel staff was equally attentive and responsive. Our child left behind an important Changbai Mountain souvenir before leaving, and Tianzhou quickly found and delivered it. Thank you to Tianzhou for making our trip a truly wonderful experience. The room was spacious and bright, with a well-planned layout, modern decor, and cleanliness. The view from the window was stunning, and there are two parks nearby, perfect for running. The pool and gym were both well-equipped, the temperature comfortable, and even with children's classes, it wasn't overcrowded. The breakfast was plentiful and high-quality, especially the chili oil sauce, which Sichuan residents appreciated. Changchun is a small city, making it easy to get around, and I'd recommend it to my friends. I'd definitely stay at the Herun Hotel again."

The hotel facilities are excellent and fully functional, and the overall decor is quite stylish. The soundproofing in the rooms is great, and they are clean and tidy, making for a very relaxing stay. The elevators operate smoothly and efficiently, so you never have to worry about overcrowding. The breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, and the taste is universally appealing, served hot and delicious. Overall, everything about this place is outstanding, and my stay far exceeded my expectations."

The curtains let in too much light, and on higher floors, the windows are drafty, making it hard to sleep at night as the curtains constantly move. The facilities are really subpar. Cleanliness: Pretty good, well-maintained. Environment: Directly opposite MixC mall, close to the city center. Service: Okay. I arrived quite late, so I didn't experience much."

"This southerner's first experience at a bathhouse in Northeast China was a huge disappointment. The facilities were outdated, there were no charging outlets in the rooms (they were all on shelves), and they didn't even provide a bottle of water. Their main selling point was to make you unbearably hot, forcing you to buy water at 12 yuan a bottle. I went to the second-floor lobby, and the rest area was smaller than those in bathhouses back home, and everything was charged separately. I don't know how locals came to think this bathhouse was so great, but out of 10, I'd only give it a 1.5. It was truly baffling."
