The location of the hotel is perfect—peaceful, scenic, and very convenient for exploring the beautiful hill town of Dalhousie. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and lovely views made the stay even more special. The food at the hotel deserves special praise. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and well prepared. The variety offered in the menu was impressive, and the taste felt very homely yet rich. It was clear that a lot of care goes into the quality and presentation of the food. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Their warm hospitality made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. They were attentive to every request and ensured that everything was taken care of promptly. Overall, my stay at Mongas Hotel & Resort was memorable because of its great location, excellent food, and the genuinely caring staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dalhousie and would definitely love to stay here again."

"How does an entire group of eleven people end up with stomach issues after staying at one resort. Not a few. Not most. All eleven. That question alone should make anyone think twice about booking DLS Nature Trinket Resort. This property operates under the larger brand DLS Hotels, and the experience strongly suggests that the way things run here is not accidental. The owner can often be seen on the property, which makes it even more concerning that such service standards and practices seem to be accepted and encouraged. The biggest issue is food. The resort projects itself as a four star property, but the food quality is far below even basic expectations. If you do not opt for ala carte, you are expected to eat whatever limited items are served. Breakfast is repetitive and rigid. Aloo paratha, chhole poori, poori aloo ki sabji, cold sandwiches, upma, pasta. A random mix appears each day. No alternatives. Bas jo mila wahi. Requesting basic items feels like an inconvenience. Milk for children, bread, jam. Most requests are met with a straight No. Asking for a tawa roti or a small menu change also gets rejected. This approach clearly flows from the top and is visible across the staff. Concerns were raised multiple times throughout the stay. Nothing changed. Complaints were heard and then quietly ignored. Sirf sunte hain. Most hotels offer complimentary food for drivers. This resort does not. That choice alone reflects the overall thinking behind the operation. Apart from two newer staff members, Prince and Mr Thakur, there is no warmth, no greeting, no basic courtesy. The effort level is minimal. The kitchen is where things become alarming. We were eleven people including kids. When a dish was repeated for the third time or more, quality dropped sharply. Dal turned watery. Gravies lost substance. Taste disappeared. It felt like guests were being discouraged from asking again. After days of arguments and repeated complaints, we decided to stay inside the resort on the last day simply because we were exhausted from travelling. We ate only food prepared at DLS Nature Trinket Resort Dalhousie for three consecutive meals. All eleven of us fell sick. Bloating, vomiting, indigestion, sour burps. People with strong digestion collapsed. This is not coincidence. This points to serious negligence. DLS Nature Trinket Resort Dalhousie relies on its location. DLS Hotels relies on branding. The reality is poor food hygiene, indifferent service, and a complete lack of accountability. Dalhousie is beautiful. This resort does not reflect that. Avoid it if you value your health and your holiday."

"Had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. The staff especially Mr Nithin, has been extremely hospitable and Vishal is a fantastic chef. Food here is very wholesome, homely and delicious. This is a 120 year old heritage property with a stunning view of Himalayas and surrounded by forests all around. The Khajjiar meadow is a short walk downhill from here. Anybody who loves nature wouldn’t be able to resist the charm of this beautiful homestay. The highlight of this visit has been Shadow, a 2 year old English pointer, who is the heart and soul of this property! Even the most cold hearted person is guaranteed to fall in love with him! The owner Mr Hanut stays with his mother in the property ***** with the staff and Shadow. Mr Hanut’s mother is a very warm and friendly lady who has been a delight to talk to. The house itself and its architecture is beautiful with the sunlight streaming in from all sides from the glass windows in the attached balcony. Overall this has been the best stay in a long time and i will definitely come back!"

"I have my 1 year old child and I used their room cattle to warm the milk. Afterthat the hotel service boy rudely deny to warm the milk in the cattle. He was very aggressive to me. 1 am there for 3 nights but their behaviour and service was too bad. Please don't waste your journey by going to this hotel. I also asked them to send breakfast in the room also he denied me for that. This is very terrible experience 😭😭😞😞"
