"The hotel was visible from afar. The rooms and lobby were very luxurious. The rooms were spacious. The bed seemed quite large too, definitely over 1.2 meters. The shower water pressure was strong, making showering very comfortable. My family and relatives all praised my choice of hotel, saying I booked such a nice room. However, when I went to sleep, I noticed something was wrong. The wall with the TV was practically connected to the room next door. Any sound from that room was just as loud here. Then upstairs, there were frequent sounds of tables being moved, and occasionally, I heard something like soft thunder. I called the front desk, and they said there were children upstairs and they would talk to them. It was around 10 pm at the time. But the noise never stopped. I called the front desk again to ask if someone was playing mahjong upstairs, or if it was a mahjong parlor, and only then did the front desk tell me the truth. When I booked the hotel on Ctrip, I specifically requested a quiet room, and I also requested quiet when I arrived. Why did they give us a room with a mahjong parlor upstairs? After much negotiation, they finally gave me a different room. When I got there, it was a single room. We have an elderly person and a child, so we need two beds. How could we possibly fit on one bed? I called the front desk to ask for the manager's number, but he didn't answer. I told the front desk to just let us sleep peacefully for the night, and we could talk about it tomorrow; we were exhausted from traveling all day. Then what did the front desk staff do? They called both rooms twice, one before and one after. Around 2 AM, they even brought a security guard to the room, seemingly trying to forcibly move our belongings from the downstairs room to the single room. And the staff acted like they had the right to do it. My mother said the mahjong game upstairs didn't stop until after 4 AM. Damn it, I was furious all night. The hotel is too close to the intersection, which is a major drawback. Although there are double windows, small cars don't affect the room much, but large vehicles have a significant impact. It's not just the noise; you can feel the vibrations while sleeping in the bed. If I remember correctly, that single room was on the 19th floor, and large vehicles were still affected by it. What's most infuriating is how the hotel staff handled the problem. If service could be rated negatively, I would definitely give it a negative score. I didn't originally book this hotel because previous reviews mentioned similar issues. So I booked another hotel, but for some reason, I canceled that one and booked this one instead. In the future, I'll definitely trust my first impression when booking a room."
