Hotel Beach Don Gonzalo ★★

"Small comfortable hotel close to the centre of town and the beach. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. We had a room facing the back of the hotel. We thought that would protect us from the street noises, but the neighbourhood roosters woke us every morning at 4:45 AM. We were surprised when we found out that they don't accept credit cards. This meant a trip to the only ATM in town which charged very high service fee (174 pesos!). The breakfasts were reasonably priced and very good. One night there was a special evening pasta dinner for Valentines day. It was the best meal we had in Celestun. Highly recommend this hotel."

"What a beautiful and relaxing experiance i had a POSADA MARIA ISABEL..Mil gracias to my wonderful host Alejandra who pointed me in all the right directions like COCTELERIA LAS CONCHITAS for fabulous ceviches. The posada sets ocean front next to the light house and close to the Muelle. Alejandra has a giant palapa for shade . Their are plenty of chairs tables and lounges . Celestún is a very relaxed beach town in Yucatán .Thank you again Alejandra espero nos vemos pronto"
