"Remote location, bad food, far from anything, need an expensive taxi to go anywhere and VERY far from Kyrenia, All standard rooms have no view   whatsoever, most service people very poor except the Zimbabwean receptionist. No shade on pool, poor quality linens. 2 English channels and is a daily shuttle bus to Kyrenia bus station or a partner hotel near the beach outside of town. Difficult to get tours."

"The only positive is the decoration. Someone has spent a lot of money on the hotel but they clearly have no idea how to run such a business. We had a reservation at the resturant for 7pm and decided to pop into the "Irish" bar first. No staff behind the bar but then a young girl from the coffee shop came in to take our drinks order. She had clearly not been behind the bar before so the order of 2 glasses or wine, a Malibu and coke and a coke turned into a comedy sketch! We entered the resurant to be greeted by 2 very disinterested staff. Know one showed us to our table so we had to find it ourselves. We eventually found a table with our name written on a scrap of paper. We ordered from the menu rather than the very limited buffet selection. 20 mins later the starters and main courses arrived together! Everything was squeezed onto the table and the waiter left. We all looked at each other very confused! We were just glad we did not order our deserts at the same time! The food was overcooked, chewy prawns and chicken so dry it required a steak knife. It's a shame, this could be a very good hotel/resturant if the staff had some training. As a property owner in North Cyprus we are here on a regular basis but will not be eating here again anytime soon."
