"My wife and I stayed at Tierra Chiloe for three nights, and we wished we could have stayed much longer. We had a great feeling about the lodge as soon as we were picked up from the airport. The driver was courteous and friendly, and as soon as we arrived, Mauricio was the epitome of helpfulness when showing us all the facilities. The staff even kept the restaurant open for us to have lunch, even though the restaurant was officially closed. The lodge is located in a fantastic setting with superb views. The lodge is also extremely comfortable, furnished to very high standards, with a great attention to detail. The food and drinks were of high quality, and all the staff and guides extremely helpful and friendly. On our last morning, we had an early departure at 08.00, but the staff prepared a meal from the kitchen for us at 07.30, even though officially the restaurant was not open for breakfast until 8.00. The lodge also gave us a packed lunch for our onward travels. We shall definitely stay here again when we next travel to Chile."

"Et charmerende hotel, et palafito (stilt-hus bygget ud over tidal-kælderen) med en smuk udsigt over en arbejdshavn og frygtelig lys.Det er centralt, velfungerende, ren, meget sparsomt og enkel, men komfortabel. Det store problem er strukturelt: medmindre dit værelse er på toppen, er det som at have gigantiske danse overhovedet; tilføjet hertil er alle de støjende støjer - badekar, toiletter, tape løber på og fra - tydeligt hørbare i værelserne på hver side eller Nedenfor.Det er svært at reparere, så sandsynligvis meget store øreplukker er din bedste indsats.Det yderst fixbare problem er WiFi, som virkelig ikke arbejdede i vores værelse, vi stod på landingen eller gik ned til kaffen for at få et signal. Wifi-udviderne ville løse dette simple problem, og jeg håber, hotellet gør det, fordi det er en skam, at det ikke er i stand til at give stedet en fuld fem stjerner."

"We expected to stay four nights but due to illness, stayed eight in total and the team at Chiloe could not have looked after us better. Amazing food, wonderful cocktails (so many non alcoholic due to medication), superb trips out with the guides and from our room we were able to watch the dolphins play in the water. A truly magical place to stay. The entire team were friendly, helpful, caring and made the extended stay less traumatic for us both. The daily hospital visits were made so much easier by Karen who helped with translation and was a complete star. So much kindness was shown to us, we felt like part of the family and leaving was really hard. One day we hope to return fully fit and able to make the most of the more energetic trips!"

"If you have a reservation at this hotel, cancel it! If you have already paid, demand a refund! If you are considering this hotel as an option for your stay in Castro, look for another place to stay! I am a frequent traveler for professional and personal reasons. I spend three-quarters of my year away from home. And I can say that in this hotel I had the worst experience of my life as a guest! And all because, after arriving at midnight the day before, I was 10 minutes past the checkout time. Literally, the woman in charge of cleaning the hotel - and one of her sons, who must be a minor and I don't know if he can legally be working in this place - pushed me out of the hotel. I hope this message is read by the owners and managers of the hotel: that woman is NOT in a position to attend to anyone; She does NOT have the capacity OR the willingness to attend to people and work in a space of hospitality. These people CANNOT be working in this place."

En kort gåtur fører dig til bjerget, hvor du kan se fugle, vandre lidt langs marchen, eller sidde simpelthen og nyde den rolige.Maden i restauranten var meget god, og udsigterne fra spisestuen er lige så dejlige som dem fra værelserne. Morgenmaden er stor... fremragende kaffe, hjemmelavet granola og yoghurt, lækkert brød samt standard ost og kød.Og mange frugt- og hjemmelavede frugtsafter, der ændrer sig hver dag. Personalet Dora og Felipe og Kevin er meget velkommen og besvarer alle spørgsmål.I mine to uger i Chile var det let... langtfra min yndlingsbolig.Jeg må tilbage til Chiloé i fremtiden for arbejde, og jeg bliver helt sikkert her!"
