"For a 4-star hotel, I believe the experience fell short of expectations. During our stay, there was a general power outage in the area, but in a hotel of this category, one would expect a backup generator. The breakfast could also be improved, as the variety was quite limited. As for the room, at first glance it seemed pleasant: the mattress was comfortable, but the bed frame was quite worn and parts were coming loose. On the very first day, we encountered ants in the bed. We quickly realized there was a line of ants entering through the balcony and spreading throughout the room, which constantly made us uncomfortable with the feeling that they might be climbing on us. This situation made the experience truly unpleasant. The jacuzzi was a positive point and worthwhile. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we couldn't enjoy the pool, but it seemed to be good. At check-out, when informing reception about the ant problem, they showed no concern. The only response was to ask if we had food in the room (which was true), but the problem had existed since the first day. Furthermore, in a 4-star hotel, it makes no sense that guests cannot eat in their rooms without risking an ant infestation. In short, for a 4-star hotel, there are still many areas for improvement."

The owners are incredible, the staff is amazing and very helpful , the place itself is of undescribable beauty filled with nature all around us. It's my second year of hopefully many many more. I always bring my dog on vacations and this is the best place for it. They also have dogs in the compound and my dog could not be happier. If there was a score higher than 5 I would definitely give it to this place."

"Recension for Villa Epicurea Jeg boede kun i Villa Epicurea og fandt det et dejligt sted. Værelset var fint og smagfuldt indrettet, med en hyggelig terrasse. Det fælles rum, hvor du kan lave mad og hvor morgenmad serveres, er meget praktisk. Frugt var dejligt! Desværre var middag ikke muligt, da jeg var der, og det skal du overføre rummeligt i forvejen, hvis du vil. Den naturlige pool er smuk, selv om trappen var lidt glat af alg, så vær opmærksom. Udsigten er virkelig skør! Parkering er nederst på bakken og om aftenen kan det være lidt mørkt. Sesimbra selv jeg ikke meget sjov, og det er stadig omkring 20 minutters kørsel. Jeg følte mig ikke rigtig sikker. Den sidste del af vejen til villaen er ubesværet, og du virkelig har brug for en bil her. Personalet er meget venligt, især Carla, værtskonen, var forfærdeligt venligt. Aftenen er der ingen medarbejdere til stede, men du kan tage drinks, skrive i en bog, hvad du har taget, og afregne alt ved slutningen af din ophold. Selv om jeg kun rejste, følte jeg mig sikker, men det var fordi der var andre gæster, fordi som jeg allerede skrev, personalet ikke var til stede i natten. Jeg ville sikkert gerne komme tilbage en gang alene eller med min familie. Ikke egnet til unge børn. Et vidunderligt, roligt sted for en afslappet ophold!"
