"Our first visit to Carnac and the Tumulus. What a great choice it turned out to be! The staff were the most friendly and helpful we encountered in France this year - nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel welcome. Location is exceptional, near the tumulus, but still an easy walk into town. Plenty of free car parking, and bicycle hire is available too. Our room was one of the newer ground floor rooms, which was quiet and spacious, and perfect for us. We did not master the heating/cooling system (the room was very warm even though the weather wasn't), but it was our fault that we didn't get round to asking for assistance. The weather also meant the pool was a little chilly, but the setting is every bit as nice as the photos show. The restaurant was closed on the day we arrived (Monday) but we had been told in advance. Dinner on the second night was very enjoyable, and the service was as we would expect. Breakfasts were also excellent and properly staffed. Happy memories all in all, and we hope to return before too long."

"5 stars deserved even for the friendliness of the staff! nice and available, it was a pleasure to stay here, I felt at home! At the time of my visit, the hotel was in the restructuring phase, so there was a little confused, but the night is quiet. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the alignment, then you can reach the beach with a pleasant walk. There is a free public parking right in front of the hotel (including loading columns for electric cars). My third floor room had a whole wall with windows that look at the roofs of the beautiful houses in the area! The room is wide and quiet; the only negative sides are the moquette (unfortunately in the hotels it is preferred just to alleviate noise), few electrical pick-ups in the room and a little slowly to get a shower with hot water. Goodbye!"

"We arrived at this accommodation directed by ******* due to a mix-up with the property we booked. From the photos, it looked like a good location, but instead, awaiting us was a large engine room below the studio apartment level and a nasty, smelly swamp under our terrace. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable, but lacked essentials like hand soap. The next morning, after not sleeping all night due to the deafening noise, we asked reception for a room change and were told it wasn't available. We immediately changed hotels, and when we checked out, as if by magic, the room was available. This shows that even the staff isn't very customer-focused. It's a shame I can't attach videos to prove what I wrote."

"My wife and I prepaid for this hotel online for 2 nights. On arrival we were shown to a dark, gloomy room on the 3rd floor. On opening the door the smell was so foul that we immediately left and found another hotel. We left so quickly that we didn't check out the bathroom/shower so have no idea how bad this was."

"The hotel is very handy to both Carnac Ville and Carnac plage, being a comfortable 10 minutes walk from both. Our room was modern and quite spacious with a small outside balcony. Breakfast was good, but not cheap at €21. Only complaint was during our visit it was over 30 degrees. There is no air conditioning in the room and no fan was supplied, making sleeping a bit uncomfortable."

"A terrific place to stay in Carnac. The hotel itself is great with the nicest staff, a cute little bar and easy and enjoyable walk to the Carnac stones. The restaurant is awesome for breakfast and even better for dinner. Beautiful views and away from the tour bus crowds- but a short walk down hill if you want to go in to town. Highly recommend if you are staying in Carnac!"
