NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park

"We are currently enjoying our stay at NRMA Airlie Beach. The past few weeks have been unseasonably wet so that would account for muddy, wet campsites as previously mentioned. The grounds are well maintained with an abundance of tropical plants and a leafy outlook. There is a supermarket, bakery and butcher all within an easy walk. Airlie Beach is walkable for the fit and is extremely enjoyable along the winding boardwalk. Staff at the park are friendly and accommodating and offer a variety of social activities for guests on a weekly basis. I think more campers should avail themselves of these as they are a good way to meet others. On offer is Bingo, Music trivia, happy hour, etc. As travellers these days are travelling with some extremely large vans I see assistance with parking as a genuine need, as most of the sites are close together. Generally, our experience here has been a good one. Congratulations! We have already booked again. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel (last minute booking due to limited availability in Airlie beach during xmas period) and, unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations for this over rated 5 star hotel. The cleanliness was disappointing. We found dust on the washing machine and noticed oil dripping down from the range hood filter—issues that clearly indicated a lack of attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance. The check-in process was poorly communicated. We were not informed ahead of time that there would be no staff on-site after 5 pm. As a result, our luggage was left outside the reception area, which felt both unprofessional and unfriendly. These two major issues left us feeling dissatisfied. Would not recommend!"

"A really good, comfortable, friendly place to call home for a few days. A short stroll to a lovely beach and child playground with plenty of barbecue sites with tables and chairs. A really lovely swimming pool in the centre of the complex as well as a friendly family of bush stone curlews to watch and listen too. Very large, comfortable rooms with everything provided, except your beach towels and goggles and flippers for those truly wonderful Whitsunday Island cruises you have to choose from."
