"The hotel is outdated! Apart from the room and the catering, nothing is good! A swimming pool that is out of order, unsanitary, the roof leaking everywhere, to the point of overflowing basins!!! The sauna and spa are closed! Massages...there are none! Hotel well located for the seaside, but far from everything! Taking a taxi to reach the center of Porto will cost you between 12 and 13 euros one way! The bus stop is conveniently located but it drops you off in the business district! So take the metro or tram afterwards. The restoration, nothing to complain about, the only downside is that you have to go from the hotel to about 100 meters with the rain, the wind, not great! Decent breakfast, friendly staff, but the hotel looks more like a dormitory than a hotel. Not to be avoided, but no recommendation Definitely not worth a 4 star"

"Great location and facilities are a little tired but still ok, pool great, restaurant friendly with great prices. Local area is fantastic for walking & cycling plus you can get to Porto cheap using UBER. We will return as it’s just a great site & atmosphere in this area."

"I was there in December 24th with my family and we really enjoyed it. We were very well received by Mr. Ricardo, an exceptional friendliness and welcome, as well as the other receptionists. Mr. Ricardo was quite perceptive because there was a birthday boy among us, and Mr. Ricardo remembered and approached us to congratulate him. All the staff from reception to breakfast, and in the restaurant were friendly and attentive to us. The food in the hotel restaurant is very good, very well prepared, good quality and sufficient quantity. I regret that on the day we asked for a crab, there were no utensils to break the crab on the table. They told us they didn't have any, but they took the crab to the kitchen and broke it better... I want to leave a very good note, for the honesty of the hotel staff, we lost our wedding ring, without knowing where it was, we looked for it in several places in the hotel, including the pool, and announced the loss at reception. The room cleaners were also attentive and helped with the search for the ring. When we checked out we were told that they were going to do maintenance on the pool and that they would look into it, and so they called us to say that the ring had appeared. "

"Reception ladies are tired of answering simple questions and should change the job. Pitches so tight that you can hardly maneuver. Water in showers unstable, sometimes runs so hot that you may be hurt, sometimes frèezing. Good restaurants nearby. Poor restaurant on site. Wifi only close to reception wuich is third world standard, not EU."
