"Terrible experience. The room was infested with ants; they were crawling all over the bed and my freshly bought food. At night, when I turned on the light, I found several ants crawling on the back of my hand – it was really unsettling. During breakfast, a staff member pointed me in the wrong direction for seating. Halfway through my meal, they came over to rush me out, and then just left without helping me with my coat or dishes."

"Awful - the worst hospitality you could imagine. Arrived at 9.15pm and the first problem was the external door code not working. No one to answer my ringing of the ‘24/7 doorbell’. Eventually an automated response gave me a new code, but a 20 min wait after a very long day travelling was very poor. The room was equally poor - the bathroom had not been cleaned, probably in a while, with the hand basin being especially grubby, the shower overflowed if on for more than thirty seconds and the basin took ages to drain. The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet even slightly. The pillows were of the cheapest foam chips variety, old, clumpy and so uncomfortable that I removed them completely. The pillowcases smelt strongly of previous occupants - that was a really poor experience. Leaving the ‘hotel’ for a quick breakfast, I was then locked out for half an hour as my code still didn’t work and no-one answered the doorbell (9.30am). Luckily a departing guest eventually gave me access. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is near the station."

"A very nice place to park yourself when visiting Cambridge due to its great location (next to St John’s & River Cam) and good shopping and dining options all within 5-10 mins walk. Rooms are decent size with well stocked kitchen. Best of all they have a gym, washing & drying facilities and a lively and lovely dining area with a super bar. Very friendly staff and a shout out to Suhas at reception who looked after us during our stay. It’s also a location where many Uni students frequent to revise and chill, right next to the Cambridge Students’ Union building"

"As a budget hotel, I should say it's great value for money. The price is more than 400, with a double bed and two single beds, which can accommodate two adults and two children. It also includes a hearty breakfast, and the sanitary environment is also good. Although the room is relatively small and there is no free wifi, When other hotels with four beds in similar locations cost around 1k, we really can't ask for more at this price. The hotel is about 2 kilometers away from the train station and scenic spots, but there is a bus stop right at the door, which is very convenient."

"Cambridge is an expensive town. That said, the price of the room did not reflect the amenities or the size of the room. Basically, the bathroom was so small as to be useless, and the bedroom very poorly lit and felt cluttered. The hotel is on top of a very cozy pub near Jesus Green, and within a comfortable walk to city centre. The room was clean and relatively quiet (the pub/hotel are located at a big intersection with frequent traffic). It would be ideal if the room price was closer to 100£, rather than 200£…"
