For your safety, along with our normal cleaning we disinfect common surface areas. We also have 100MG Internet service. In the winter we a first priority road for the snow plow and have never had a problem with snow. I also clear the driveway when it snows. No 4x4 needed. Listen to the creek, watch the wildlife and be only a mile from town. This home has Australian Cypress hardwood floors, indoor grill, heated by a Tulikivi (A soapstone fireplace from Finland), and cooled by AC in each bedroom. All electricity is 100% solar. No detail was left out on this unique layout with beautiful natural wood to create a lodge setting in a compact space. The living area is up one flight of stairs. So be aware there are stairs to get to the main level. On the main floor there is one master bedroom with a king sized bed. There are two loft bedrooms accessed by a shipman’s ladder each with a queen sized bed and an additional single trundle bed. There is another raised sleeping area behind Japanese Shoji doors that houses two twin mattresses as well as a carpeted play area. Sleeping for 10 can be easily accommodated in this unique layout. Jacuzzi tub and a home office make this a place to come home and relax after a good day skiing, hiking or biking. The kitchen is fully equipped and the home includes a washer and dryer. Bring a DVD and use our 110 inch Projection screen with surround sound. The canyon road goes for 4-5 more miles and then ends in wilderness area. With the Logan to Jackson bike race and the Top of Utah Marathon both in the valley, this home is passed everyday by athletes who are training in a beautiful setting.
Outside the house is a deluxe private playground with sand box, playhouse, swings, slides, basketball hoop, and soccer field. There are 8 acres of land to take a walk across the bridges along the creek. We have seen deer (almost every day), raccoons, moose, fox, rabbits, pheasants, owls, and other wildlife that live in harmony with this home. Yet we are one mile from the post office and McDonalds. We have the benefit of quiet seclusion and still close to town. It is like our own private oasis.
We wish to share a dream that we created in a beautiful setting. There are 8 acres to explore.
For weekends, we require a two night stay unless the weekend is seven or less days away.

The Farmhouse at Sundrop Acres is a 1500 sq. ft. unit with a private, keyless entrance. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage on the front porch facing the magnificent Wellsville Mountains. Step inside to be welcomed by the kitchenette/dining room. There is a large dining table for meals and game playing, a sink, countertop oven, refrigerator, Keurig, coffee maker, farm fresh eggs (seasonal), beverages, and snacks The ground floor also has a family room with sofas and an entertainment center full of books, games, DVDs, and puzzles. The Farmhouse at Sundrop Acres is a 1500 sq. ft. unit with a private, keyless entrance. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage on the front porch facing the magnificent Wellsville Mountains. Step inside to be welcomed by the kitchenette/dining room. There is a large dining table for meals and game playing, a sink, countertop oven, refrigerator, Keurig, coffee maker, farm fresh eggs (seasonal), beverages, and snacks The ground floor also has a family room with sofas and an entertainment center full of books, games, DVDs, and puzzles. The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths are located UPSTAIRS on the second floor of the farmhouse and boast new premium mattresses with hypoallergenic covers and cases. Even the twin beds are comfy!

While it is peaceful and quiet in the heart of small town Hyrum, you are only a few blocks from Hyrum Reservoir State Park Beach, close to Blacksmith Fork Canyon, Sardine Canyon, less than 10 minutes from downtown Logan where you have access to amazing restaurants and cafes. Also only 1 hour from Bear Lake. If it's warm, bring the boat! With a circle drive and parking for a trailer, we're just steps away from Hyrum Reservoir. The large washer and dryer will help with all the towels including lots of space to rest after a day on the water.
If it's cold, bring the skis and snowboards! We're quick drives to Cherry Peak (40 mins) and Beaver Mountain (50 mins) Ski Resorts, and our hassle free fireplace makes it easy to warm up after a snow day!
The space
Our home is a completely renovated 4bd 2bath getaway. The kitchen is ready for everything from Barbequing a full rack of ribs and 100 baked potatoes, to microwave popcorn and instant ramen.
At the end of the day, Memory Foam Mattresses and Black-Out shades in every bedroom will ensure you get the best night's sleep.
Guest access
Large front of the house makes parking for the whole family super easy. The backyard includes a raised deck including a BBQ grill, a Fire Pit for roasting marshmallows and watching the stars, and a patio area for dinners or games outside. Inside the house you have access to the upper portion of the home.
While we decide on plans for Phase 2 of our renovation, we'll keep the unfinished basement closed and locked.
