"This is a great option for families with young kids. There are two bedroom apartments and they provide cots and high chairs free of charge. We used the high chairs and they were new and safe. The pool is great but not heated. Kids will love it, parents will get in on sunny days. The apartments are so centrally located. Walk to the bakery, IGA, lots of places to eat. It is right next door to the only public playground on the island and they have an access gate directly to it. Great for toddlers/preschoolers. There's also a little skate park and a rugby field there. You need to request fresh towels a day in advance which is a little annoying (unless you stay 8 days - we stayed 7 days). The internet is free but woeful. Download everything you need before you go or head over to the pizza place, which has fantastic internet. If you plan to work here, you'll need to get a local sim to get your own internet happening. Staff are friendly, everything is clean, there are guest laundries ($5 per load, $5 for the dryer) and many hills hoists to dry wet gear (if it's not raining!). Bring some indoor activities for the kidlets. Half our week was wet and no reception ABC kids on the TV (they got some other stations, just not everything). The Olive cafe has kids toys and books. Prinke Eco Store has seasonal fruit, brown rice crackers and is kid friendly. The lavender farm has kids toys and great baked potatoes (and Sunday sesh vibes) - Sunday only. Bakery is great for kids (and adults!). Also of businesses have wifi available for customers. There's a kids book swap down near Anglicare past the knitwear shop. Bring some good quality books to read, then add to their collection. There's also an opp shop near the Folk Museum which had a few toys but could use some good quality toy donations, if you bring something you are aging out of."

"Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager and taken to our room. The rooms were very clean. A generous starter breakfast was provided (fresh bread, butter pats, spreads, 200ml milk and small carton of fruit juice. The beds were very comfortable. The units are not new but seem reasonably well maintained."

"A great place to stay on Norfolk Island. Rooms had what you wanted and the staff were fantastic, always a smile snd hello and happy to help. Breakfast was good as were tha lunches I had there on 2 days. The hotel caters well for Tour Groups be they large or small. Keep up the good work."

"Esma og jeg nydte vores ophold i Ocean Breeze, så meget ren og med alt, hvad vi havde brug for i vores syv vidunderlige dage på NLK. En kærlig udsigt over Phillip Island og meget tæt på de fleste restauranter og Burnt Pine, men stadig så stille uden trafikstøj.Vil De sikkert vende tilbage og Ocean Breeze vil være vores indkvartering, tak for et vidunderligt ophold."

"Jeg elskede vores ophold i Daydreamer Apartments.Alt, hvad vi havde brug for, var der.Det var smukt og ren.Nogle mindre ting var nødt til at reparere som klipperne på flyskærmen.Der var en smuk udsigt ud på bagdækket, hvor vi havde vores morgenkaffe. Ikke langt til byen, hvis du følte, at du gik.Vi ville blive der igen."

"Very Clean, Comfortable beds, Extremely friendly staff. The only downside was that it was not very organised. The all inclusive package was not explained well and the schedule had inconsistencies. Which tours needed vouchers and which did not would have been nice to know. The staff were very willing to help and extremely approachable. I think it would be helpful for the hotel to add a more detailed 'welcome sheet with some inital explanations, contact details for the cab service, tours and restraunts. This was a loverly place to stay for a week. Great views of the ocean. Room was a little on the small side, but quite comfortable. The place is not new and flashy, but it made up for this by being well lighted with natural breeze. I wasn't sure how it would go with no air conditioning, but the breeze was more than sufficient."

"The location was central to Burnt Pine and easy walking distance to shops. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The room was large and with a scenic outlook. The area was quiet and I enjoyed being woken up by a rooster crowing. The service was friendly and accommodating. The meals were nutritious. I would be happy to stay at South Pacific Resort Hotel when I revisit Norfolk Island."

"Fabulous location, perfect to watch the Sun & Moon rise. Wonderful accommodation, clean beyond expectation! The property is 5 to 10 minutes from everywhere! We would highly recommend Whispering Pines to anyone looking to stay on the Island."
