"The house is in a quiet and beautiful location in the Spreewald. The rooms are functionally furnished. The service is very good - helpful and friendly. The food is plentiful, with regional ingredients and very tasty. The Italian restaurant in particular is a highlight and can only be recommended. I have rarely enjoyed such good Italian food. The room was unfortunately a bit dark and could have been a little bigger, but it was stylish and functionally furnished and clean. The wellness area is clean and beautifully designed, unfortunately one of the saunas was out of order/broken... The highlight is also the small in-house petting zoo. Recommended for a visit to the Spreewald."

"Meget store, moderne og veludstyrede lejligheder. Burg centrum er tilgængelig fodgænger. Lejere er meget hjertelig og lægger stor vægt på bæredygtighed. Morgenmad er sindssyg. Grundlaget ligger lige ved vandet med egen kano udlejning. Også børn kommer her fuldt ud på deres omkostninger. Vi vil gerne komme tilbage."

"A beautiful, quiet, and very clean hotel. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. The hotel's location is fantastic. It's the perfect place if you're looking for absolute peace and quiet and to be close to nature. The prices for drinks and food at the hotel are a bit high. (However, this is typical of all the restaurants in the area. The price-performance ratio isn't always ideal.) But we didn't find this to be a problem. There's direct access to the river right next to the hotel, where you can rent canoes and SUPs. We plan to vacation here again next year and will definitely stay at the Waldhotel Eiche again."
