"In order to go to see the chapel on a mountain top in South Carolina, it is very convenient to walk an hour from the hotel. It is small but very clean. It is annoying that the check-out time cannot be coordinated. Everything else is okay."

"Older building but maintained. The front desk team was friendly and offered advise to local happenings. The room had a few bugs due to the gap around the door. The rooms were exterior rooms. Over all, not bad. I would stay again if i was in the area."

"Wow!! This beautiful hotel totally exceeded our expectations! We were having some issues with a third-party booking agent and the desk clerk Derek did an outstanding job of helping us through the challenges. Every aspect of the hotel is first class! The decor is beautiful. The room was fantastic and they offer many nice touches like a wine reception, upscale toiletries and comfortable robes and the sheets were very soft.  The hotel manager, Anna was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. If you are looking for a hotel in the downtown Asheville area, you will love this hotel! We have stayed at many nice hotels over the years, and this hotel is definitely an A+."

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The facilities are outdated, the room is dark and filled with the smell of smoke. The amenities are basic, missing, and do not match the description; there's no refrigerator. Hygiene is appalling; the bedding and towels are stained, and the toilet is clogged. The front desk staff were relatively friendly and assisted in changing rooms, but the conditions didn't improve much. It's a far cry from the Red Roof I stayed at before, indicating significant problems with the brand's management."
