From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a beautifully kept secret: lush, lovingly maintained grounds, the kind of quiet that settles your spirit, and that breathtaking, soul stirring view of the River Nile that you can’t quite capture in words. Everything about our stay felt intentional and warm. The rooms were spotless and fresh, the meals were delicious and prepared with such care, and the entire space radiated peace. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — with a special shout out to Sarah, whose warmth made us feel right at home. The Haven exceeded every expectation we had. It’s rare to find a place that looks beautiful in photos and somehow feels even more magical in person. I’m already dreaming about my next vacation there. Worth every coin, worth every moment, and worth every mile travelled. If you’re looking for serenity, beauty, and a place that truly lives up to its name, The Haven is it. "The place is amazing. The rooms are quite spacious..my room had two beds, one being a massive 7x7 feet. They are luxurious, each with a bath tub, TV and some overlooking both the swimming pool and River Nile. Mine, Open billed stock was one. Jinja can be hot and humid but all rooms air conditioning. You can hear the sounds of birds and the Mighty River Nile whispering as you sleep. Staff were polite, probably not the best trained but were friendly a d willing to go out of their stay to make my stay special. One of the best , finest lodges in Jinja."

"We love visiting the Kingfisher! We paid to swim and eat dinner during a brief visit in Jinja. The grounds are covered in beautiful flowers and was a tranquil, relaxing visit. The staff made us dinner and we had drinks poolside. There isn’t a high level of awareness of allergies but they tried to accommodate."
